The Milestone Barn serves the purpose of housing the weddings and other “milestone” events throughout ones life. Whether it’s a wedding, reception, graduation party, prom, or any other gathering, The Milestone Barn will provide you exactly the rustic country, yet elegant feeling you wish to achieve. Perfectly located 10 miles west of Chesaning, The Milestone Barn sits between Lansing, Saginaw and Flint, allowing us to serve the vast majority of lower Michigan.

“We got married in August 2018 at The Milestone Barn and it was the wedding of our dreams! The barn and grounds are stunning. I loved everything about my wedding. Carolyn was amazing to work with and always there to answer my questions. People loved the venue so much that we talked about doing it again (minus the wedding part). You won’t regret getting married there. If you are looking for food, hotel, or someone to marry you they have recommendations!! I wouldn’t have changed a thing.”

Situated on 20 acres in a beautiful farming community with rolling hills and sweeping farmland. The White Barn is the largest facility in the region with professional staff and an absolutely wonderful indoor/outdoor environment which delights your guests. Allow your guests to capture silly and fun moments while at your event with the 360 Photo Booth that is provided with each rental. Property includes a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house called the Country Retreat to provide overnight lodging (6-8) and a space to host your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, farewell breakfast, etc.

“My fiancé and I were planning to have our celebration at country barn and estates . However, we ended up delaying our date to a future date . We were planning to do a Cannabis themed celebration, which by the way Country barn & estates are fully open to & supportive of . In the year 2022 you would think more would be , but surprisingly not many are . So if this is a desire of yours as well , this might be the place for YOU . We had planned to do the “white barn “ which is a beautiful space . Not only is it a very large space, you also have access to the cute little horse trailer bar & fireplace as well . Not to mention LOTS of outdoors space . The ceilings are a nice touch & the bathrooms were super cute ! The gazebo with the white bridge across the pond is the perfect place for ceremony or a place for guest to enjoy a moment under . We figured it would be the perfect spot for our cannabis bar . As a added bonus the guest house is also available. Which makes finding a place to stay after the celebration effortless . The Coordinator Bonnie is a sweetheart & will go above and beyond to ensure your special day is nothing but flawless ! She made everything so easy and stress free. She also has a great eye for decor. We had to change the ceremony from outside to inside last minute due to rain and they did it without causing us any worry. She is a very calming presence who is dedicated ensuring the couples have a wonderful day. I would highly recommend Applewood Farms to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable venue!”
