His knowledge and passion for many genres of music was evident from the get go, he was both personable and professional, and he had a genuine enthusiasm for our event. As someone who had a strong vision of the vibe I wanted for our wedding reception, planning the playlist with DJ D-Mac felt like the true collaborative process of my dreams. He took my must play/do not play lists and ran with them, making additional suggestions and unique mixes. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping troubleshoot sound-related issues with the venue, making lighting suggestions, and even helping us find an excellent karaoke vendor for our after party. His personal style and the style of his DJ setup were sleek, cool, and a little retro, which only added to the wedding aesthetic. “Highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a DJ! He was easy to work with and sent over an extensive questionnaire to fill out. We were able to create Spotify playlists and include them in the questionnaire for easy referencing of our preferred music tastes. “We hired DJ Chuck from mydeejay for our wedding on April 6, 2024 at Kent Island Resort, and it was the best decision! From our initial phone call, after interviewing a few different DJs from different companies, we knew Chuck would be the right fit. Throughout the planning process he was very accommodating, and the mydeejay planning portal was incredibly thorough and easy to navigate. Chuck arrived early to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. His equipment was top of the line - everyone said our ceremony music (which was played outside during an incredibly windy day) sounded like live string music. His indoor set up was incredibly sleek looking. Chuck played all of our requested songs, cut them at the perfect places when needed (for ceremony and dances) and mixed in others that kept our dance floor packed all night - which is what we wanted most at our reception. “We are so glad we chose Maurice (The Covenant Child DJ) for our wedding. Maurice responded very quickly to our initial inquiry on wedding wire and after our first call we knew it was a good fit. Maurice was very helpful in planning our music and the timing for our wedding. He sent us a link to an application that he uses (called Vibo) that allowed us to input our song choices for different parts of the wedding (processional, recessional, cocktail hour, first dance, dinner music, dance music, etc.). This was incredibly helpful because the app lets you search songs from Youtube, Spotify, and Apple Music and upload it there. We are a couple from mixed backgrounds so having this was super helpful to include music that both of our families could enjoy and have a solid set of songs. We chose about 30 songs and let Maurice fill in the rest, and he did an absolutely amazing job filling out the playlist and choosing songs that got the guests dancing. He even did some research on Malagasy songs and included them at different parts of the wedding. He even did a custom mix for us for our first dance! Maurice also helped out by suggesting timing for the different elements of the ceremony and reception. Maurice was very generous with his time during planning and really went above and beyond to help us plan the day. On wedding day, Maurice was great. He was an active, lively DJ and was very helpful with announcements, keeping us on schedule, and getting the guests involved in the wedding. He led us through some different games, and played a perfect set of music. Maurice did a great job reading the crowd and playing the hits that got different groups dancing. Toward the end of the night he played hit after hit and had us and our friends dancing... we didn't want to leave the dance floor!! Thank you so much Maurice for everything, you were a huge part of making our wedding special and we will forever appreciate it!”

“We had an amazing experience working with Jamie (DJ Casanova) for our wedding in October 2022 (been meaning to write a review for so long)! Jamie was very professional throughout the whole planning process. We actually hired him in 2020 but we had to postpone our wedding twice because of covid (he was very flexible and made the postponement process very smooth). We met virtually/over the phone a few times and he assured us he was available to meet as many times as we'd like. Closer to our wedding date, we had a more formal meeting where we went through the timeline of the whole reception detail by detail. He had a form where we put in all the information, which showed he was experienced at the job. I was very particular about the type of music I wanted to be played at our reception and he was super easy-going about it and assured us that he was there to implement our vision. On our actual wedding day, everything went as planned and honestly even better than I could have ever imagined! I love to dance and so do many of our guests, and thanks to Jamie, the dance floor was never empty even for one second! He knew how to read the room and change the music accordingly. Even after our wedding, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how fun the party was! In sum, I highly recommend Jamie and already have recommended him to some friends looking to get married soon!
