Photography has been such a passion for me since I was in high school, but turning it into an amazing career happened almost accidentally as I kept having friends asking me to photograph their weddings, events, and even headshots. Then word traveled fast and I had complete strangers calling with the same requests. The Downtown Collective Band was established in 2016 as just a couple of guys who wanted to jam out in the attic. We got some small gigs here and there doing hybrid DJ/live music performances. Then we found friends from music school/work that played instruments and made the jam bigger and got more gigs. Now we are known as one of the top bands in the Midwest. We love playing live music because you get a much more authentic experience with people actually playing instruments and sharing what they feel deep down in their soul as they perform!
