He gave excellent recommendations, provided sample playlists, and a thorough questionnaire that we would've been completely lost without. A month before our big day, he attended our final venue walkthrough to ensure his equipment was compatible with the venue's sound system, which gave us great peace of mind! Having a bilingual MC was a huge bonus, especially since about half of our guests were attending from Mexico. Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. “Davey helped make our wedding the most wonderful night we could have ever imagined. Ours was a non-traditional affair and his vibe, demeanor, and taste complimented our style perfectly. He confidently set up multiple PA's, mic'd our officiant and guest singer, and setup the most amazing lighting rig that would put most nightclubs in Austin to shame. Davey is a true professional and seemed to do everything with ease. During the actual ceremony he MC'd throughout the night, i.e. introducing the officiant, providing a segue-way to the toast, and politely directing our guests to dessert. He did so in an easy yet confident tone that was completely cringe-free. Musically, we were so happy with what Davey played. We requested a mix of well-known party-starters but noting too basic or over-played. He came with sophisticated remixes of old faves and served up some great 90's throwbacks as well. He then transitioned toward more contemporary dance music territory which setup our headlining DJ perfectly. Davey is anything but a basic wedding DJ with lame tunes and a cheap tux. If you're looking for someone who really gets it, is a breeze to work with, and honestly cares about your big event- you've found the one.”

“Wow! Wow! Wow! I am pretty much speechless because this band is THAT good. I first want to compliment, Greg Williams, the owner of Uptown Drive. From booking all the way through wedding day, he was nothing but responsive, respectful and a pleasure to work with. As for the reception, they made it what it was! I think what is incredible about them is they entertain everyone (not only those dancing on the dance floor) because every song is a TRUE performance. I am not lying when i say this, every time I have seen someone that attended my wedding, every one of them (young or old) comment on how great the band was. FYI I'm three months out from my wedding, so I've seen a lot of my guests since then. They played the right music while everyone was eating and visiting and knew exactly how to transition to dance floor time by doing a conga line. They let my husband and I get on stage and sing which we will remember and cherish forever. They came out into the crowd and let out our guest sing. They came out in the crown and danced with us! Me and some of my guests joke that we would like to have another wedding just so we can have them play again. I could absolutely not recommend this band anymore! Stop here and BOOK THEM!!! P.S. “I was a little iffy about having a band, I was so worried about people not dancing or not having a fun time. Boy was I wrong. This band was absolutely incredible!!! I had so many people asking me their name and commenting on how fun it was. My sister told me she has never been to a wedding where people never left the dance floor. The band really made this wedding amazing. Due to covid we only had about 53 people total and we were so worried for nothing. The band had me the groom up on stage singing and dancing with them. We had gone through their list of songs and marked which ones we liked/disliked, but with all the craziness of the wedding I never got around to sending it. This made me even more nervous because I hoped they wouldnt play things no one liked. Again, so wrong. They knew exactly what to play, they played classic rock, current pop, 90's music, some Motown, R&B, Sinatra for dinner set. They knew what would get people dancing. My husband who is a huge Alabama fan got pulled up on stage to sing sweet home Alabama. He loved it! Mark was incredible as well. He never minded to talk with me on the phone about our goals/worries for the wedding. He gave me the best piece of advice that if the bride and groom are having fun, the rest will follow and he was definitely right. We both agreed all night that this was the perfect choice. We were absolutely blown away with them! Definitely a must book for your wedding.”
