Dreams Event Studio offers just over 2,300 square feet of event space and is located in Albuquerque’s northeast heights. The studio features wood floors, two flat screens for presentations, a superior audio system throughout and a kitchenette for the food and caterer of your choice. Built along the original route 66 El Rey Court officially opened its doors in 1936. With its traditional Northern New Mexico adobe-style architecture the motor inn was a favorite among locals and road trippers alike. Throughout the years El Rey has seen many additions, renovations, upgrades and changes. More rooms were built, the original carports were enclosed the pool and hot tubs were added, and the neighboring motel (Alamo Court) was integrated into El Rey. The latest upgrades were completed in 2018, refreshing the rooms, adding La Reina bar and creating more spaces for guests. El Rey Court is New Mexico Safe Certified, meaning you can feel safe + comfortable staying with us knowing our standards and COVID safety. El Rey Court is a whimsical + romantic spot that will stand the test of time. The beautifully landscaped grounds, multiple ceremonies + reception outlets and traditional adobe structures are a distinct, unique, and warm backdrop for vows of any size + style.

In 1995 the historic apple orchards that put became the host to a new summer camp, brought about by the owner of Darnell Apple Orchard. The owner is an architect and builder, who designed and constructed the main dining hall, and five group cabins as summer-only buildings. A year later Scott and Spencer Garrett, the developers of New Mexico Sports and Wellness recreational clubs, purchased the Apple Wood Camp and renamed it Apple Mountain Camp. Their goal was not only to create a summer camp facility but to develop a high-altitude sports training facility. Their dream reached reality when in 1997 and 1998 swimming gold medallists Tom Jager and Janet Evans used Apple Mountain to host their Gold Medal Swim Camp. In 1999 the Garrett’s sold their recreational clubs to a national chain but retained ownership in Apple Mountain Camp. In 2000, Scott purchased all remaining shares of AMC and commenced a significant remodeling and expansion effort, renaming the facility Manzano Mountain Retreat.
