Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. The Moss Ranch at Enchanted Rock offers the bridal party and family a private, relaxed weekend in the Texas Hill Country starting on Friday allowing time to decorate for the wedding and also having the option of the wedding rehearsal and dinner in the evening. On Saturday everyone can relax and focus on getting dressed for the big event. There will be plenty of time on Sunday to remove decorations before checking out. Located on 145 picturesque acres reflecting the Texas Hill Country, conveniently one mile off of Highway 29 between Burnet and Bertram. With its two-story vaulted ceilings and gracious 10,000 square feet climate controlled interior, Hill Country Bliss Wedding and Event Venue can accommodate 300 guests for dining and entertaining. The 3,000 square feet open air chapel can accommodate 300 guests. This chapel is finished in a modern style with ivory wood walls and ceilings with a breath-taking view of the Texas Hill Country.
