“I started looking for photographers after realizing that our nighttime, entirely virtual ceremony (thanks Covid) wouldn't be conducive to good photos and booked her for wedding portraits before the ceremony. After having gotten our pictures back, I'm am so happy and relieved I trusted my gut with them. Not only did Lauren scout out and help us find locations that would work in our extremely limited time frame (I can't say enough about how awesome she was for finding spots based on our desired background + helping us find niche parking spots on google maps), but she made us feel so comfortable and confident. Throughout the photoshoot she was exceedingly positive and encouraging, and my husband and I left feeling like rockstars. She paid attention to our good/bad angles - she kept directing us to do things during the shoot (like crack jokes, switch sides, etc) that saved us from our less photogenic tendencies. She was also highly professional, diffusing a couple of awkward situations with people in our shoot locations and setting a timer to make sure we got back to start our ceremony on time. The pictures largely speak for themselves though. My husband and I are notoriously bad at having photos taken and I was really nervous about having only a few good ones to choose from. I'm still surprised that I've only been able to narrow my favorites down to 80 pictures! I loved the types of shots she took, which were a great blend of up-close moments and landscape shots. I also had a few "props", like a bouquet and dupatta, and she was great at figuring out when to add/remove them from a shot. I feel like the editing style is good balance of modern and classic, and I have no worries about these pictures aging badly. I could go on forever, but coming from a person who was sincerely worried that she was incapable of having a good photo taken, I can't recommend Eichar photography highly enough”
