Music was one of our biggest priorities for the wedding day and our expectations were blown away. David was very collaborative, helping us to plan the perfect set list and answering all of our questions leading up to the day. We were also so appreciative that the band was able to not only learn but perform incredible renditions of our first dance song, and themes from Vanderpump and Star Wars (truly amazing live!). Growing up in rural Virginia my intro to photography came to me at 14 while breaking into abandoned houses with friends to take photos that can only be describe in retrospection as “experimental”. “When all of our wedding plans fell through because of COVID-19, we opted for a socially-distant micro wedding at a park. We somehow made it happen with just over 48hrs to plan! We knew we wanted a photographer to help us capture our special day, even if it didn't have all the bells and whistles, and were so lucky to have found Cassidy on such short notice. He was such a pleasure to work with. He was incredibly flexible (we changed our venue the night before the wedding) and very communicative. To top it off, our photos turned out so beautiful and made our adhoc wedding seem a bit more romantic and put together. He captured laughter and love! I was born and raised in a quiet seaside town on the South Shore of Long Island. I grew up in a place where good, strong love grows with parents who have been together since they were 16 years old. They taught me that true love grows in the face of hardship and, as strong believers in their faith, that love is, indeed, patient and kind. And so as soon as I realized that wedding photography didn’t have to be posed and mechanical; that I could shoot weddings from a more organic and authentic lens; that I could document a story, not direct one, I was hooked!

“Having a good photographer was one of my priorities for my wedding. I knew the day was going to be a whirlwind and I wanted to be able to look back and at least have one photo where my eyes weren’t closed or something. Lauren absolutely delivered — I don’t think we’ve ever looked as good in pictures and I know I probably won’t again!! Lauren also recommended Elizabeth for our day-of coordinator and I don’t know what we would have done without her — I definitely would have lost my mind, of that I’m sure. First, I can’t overstate the importance of finding a photographer with whom you have a good rapport — Lauren has this charisma where you instantly feel at ease and like you’ve known her your whole life. It frankly made me less nervous and I think that translates really well in the photos. She’s also a master of making you look the best in posed photos - giving little positioning directions that you look elegant without looking stiff. Every time I look at the pictures I’ll notice another candid moment that Lauren managed to capture or simply marvel at how she somehow can translate emotion in a still picture — I find myself smiling and definitely not crying (jk definitely crying) because you can FEEL what we were feeling in these photos. Second, get you a planner who is superhuman. Elizabeth took over six weeks (!) before the wedding and it was like a literal weight was lifted from my shoulders. At our first meeting she went through her checklist (and mine bc of course I had my own) and said “I’ll take care of it” to literally everything... and then...did?? I was fully prepared to have to follow up with vendors and micromanage but I basically didn’t have to do anything. It was magical. Elizabeth and her team did so much work and went above and beyond in literally every way to ensure we had a perfect day. Anyway, if you’re struggling with choosing a photographer because there are 72525 million to choose from, and you like the style of Lauren’s photos, go for it ASAP. Lauren is incredible and I feel so lucky that we were able to work with her. And if you need a day-of coordinator (or a full blown wedding planner!) pick Elizabeth - she has the eye for design and the capability to pull it off and pull it off well!”

“Words cannot define the worth and joy it was to have Kawania and her team be a part of my wedding day. She was a constant advocate for our needs and budget throughout the process, being realistic at every turn. What I know now is that what you get with Kawania is experience and know-how of the industry. She has planned several weddings and events before and knows how to troubleshoot mishaps that may happen on the wedding day in real time. She understands that the day of the event is a special moment for everyone involved and she knows not to bring stress to the wedding party and to allow them to live in the moment. At subsequent weddings, I have felt that my friends needed this approach with their planners on their wedding day/weekend. I, being their guest or in their bridal party felt the disorganization that their planners or self-planning brought. This was not the case with Kawania. We had glowing comments about our wedding day for even a year after and how it was not just a ceremony but a day of entertainment. She is an excellent communicator. We had regular meetings throughout the year, about once a week. I have seen my friends have wedding planners who do not get back to them for several days after they have a question about their wedding. Kawania brought my vendors to me instead of me having to look for vendors on my own and when one did not work she always had another one that could take the place. She set up meetings with me and my vendors one-on-one and reviewed all of our vendor contracts to make sure that we were getting a fair contract and that expectations for the vendor and for us were both reasonable and what we were looking for. Being a very busy working professional I appreciated that Kawania went above and beyond to make sure that I stayed on the schedule and was extremely patient when there were moments when I could not. I value how she brought my vision to life and had such great attention to small details that my day was exceptional. I have seen my guests feature elements of my wedding at their subsequent events and it speaks to how she was able to set the bar high for what a classy and unique event should be. Far beyond a wedding planner, she has become someone that I keep in contact with after the wedding. She even checked in on me when there was a major catastrophic event that took place in the area where I lived months after the wedding. There were even moments when I became uncertain or stressed and focused on the wrong thing when it came to my wedding. Kawania, quite like a mother figure helped me realize what my focus should be and to ignore all other distractions so that when I walked down the aisle, I was in full confidence of how the day was going to be and did not feel a single ounce of stress on my wedding day. I could not be more thrilled to work with Kawania again. Although I do not see myself getting remarried I would certainly work with her for any big event I needed in the future. She has such a positive energy and global about her and brings a light to every interaction even difficult ones that makes her pleasant, respectable, dependable, and all around the absolute reason why my big day went off such success. “We could not have pulled off our wedding without the Lovehaus team. We used Lovehaus for styling and partial planning (planning starting at 6-mo out). My husband and I are the biggest procrastinators, and combined with very busy and time-consuming jobs, I knew that we would never be the wedding planners that we needed to be. A friend recommended Lovehaus and we're so thankful she did. Tabitha was our coordinator and she is a real-life angel organizer, who kept all our timelines on track, kept us in check, and handled all the coordination with our vendors so that we could have a stress-free wedding day. Not only did she work directly with all our vendors so we didn't even have to think about it, but she also helped us make decisions when we were indecisive (which was more often than not) and shared her recommendations for vendors and helped us choose the ones that best fit our needs. She joined all the vendor meetings too, asking questions I would never have thought of and helping me to create shot lists or decide on food options. Separate from vendor coordination, she helped to style the beautiful wedding we were hoping for, creating a style guide that perfectly reflected what we asked for and choosing or creating design elements (linens, florals, signage) we loved. She even helped share recommendations for all the bridal party dresses that everyone loved using as their inspo, which helped to create such a beautiful and fun pink moment for my bridesmaids. In addition to all her planning expertise, she was amazing the day of the wedding with her assistant, Shaun. The two of them kept our timelines on track and got us where we needed to be, when we needed to be there. No one had to stress about a thing as they had everything covered. They were even able to get a lovely orange stain off the front of my dress from the pollen on a flower in my bouquet before the ceremony. Everyone in the bridal party was raving about the Lovehaus team and how well they handled the whole day. I cannot thank Tabitha and the Lovehaus team enough for all they did for us. 100/10 would absolutely, most definitely, without a doubt, recommend.”

They most certainly delivered on their promise of No Boring Receptions and has us and our friends dancing all night! They guided the ceremony and reception with ease, and handled any time hiccups that came up without any fuss, making it a less anxious time for all. The planning suite they use is extremely easy to navigate and set s everyone up for success leading up to the big day! A little something that stood out: Our pastor that officiated our wedding is retired and had not done a wedding in 6 years, and it was the first one he had done without his wife of 57 years there with him. Devail and Nikki took time out of their busy schedule to share some video footage with our pastor so that he could show his wife. Talk about making it a personal experience!! They did this sort of thing throughout the whole process of working with them. We know this is a long review, but long story short, We cannot recommend their services enough. HIRE THEM!!!!”
