I’ve been fortunate to be a mehndi artist for 10+ years in the Detroit area. Tradition mehndi design with a modern twist are my passion. I pride myself on clean, intricate design work and fabulous stains.

Ashley started out as a little one going to work with her mom who is also a hair stylist. As the years passed and as Ashley grew older she quickly learned her love of being in the salon. She went to cosmetology school while in high school and received her license in 2007. Her first ever bride scared her off for a bit but after no other stylist in the salon wanted to take on the event styling appointments, she was the only one who braved them. Oddly enough they quickly turned into a passion of hers and became what she was known for. Fast forward 16 years and Ashley is still going strong rocking out event styling and loving every minute of it!

Jo-hanna, the owner of JoHenna Design and commonly known as Joey, is best known for her intricate henna designs, paintings, and drawings. She has lived in Indianapolis most of her life and is a self-taught artist. Joey enjoys creating complex designs in many different mediums including: henna art, pen and ink drawings, acrylic paintings, watercolor paintings as well as decorating pillows, mugs, bags, shoes, etc. ​
