Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. Our goal was to make sure no one left the dance floor, and we had an extremely high bar and specific vision for a DJ for our wedding… Davey met and exceeded expectations, and I’d throw another party just to hire him again. He was extremely helpful, available, and consultative throughout the process, which was immensely valuable because we planned the wedding from out-of-state. We wanted a party that started with familiar songs remixes into house music so that the family members could dance to something familiar, and get progressively more dancey throughout the night- and that’s exactly what we got. He’s adaptable and ready to read the crowd to keep everyone involved, which we really appreciated, and was a big priority. He puts the couple first and is very intentional about making sure the night goes smoothly and as expected. It was a party with exactly the right music, and Davey kept everyone dancing- even my 82 year old grandma. We selected Davey because of his knowledge of our music taste (he’d even played some of our favorite NYC clubs), but in referencing him it was clear that his capabilities were not limited to this style- I talked to two other couples who were just as excited about Davey as I am, but with pretty different taste. As we worked with Davey and got to know him, it also became apparent that he’s just an excellent human being, and brought such good vibes and energy to our wedding just for being who he is. To anyone considering, I could not recommend Davey more. We were close on using another vendor whose package included lights, but I’m glad we did not. The lights we would have received were auto-sensing lights that “sync” to the music- but from what I’ve seen, those lights are frenetic and unreliable. We spent some extra money investing in proper lights (Davey helped with a few introductions), and the combination of Davey’s skills and professional lighting transformed a standard wedding to a disco nightclub.”

Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding! His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect vibe for the event was truly impressive. When it started sprinkling, neither our guests nor DJ Neema wanted to stop so with the help from some friends, they constructed a cover for DJ Neema’s set up with a table cloth and dry cleaning plastic and kept the party going (see pic)! “I was a little iffy about having a band, I was so worried about people not dancing or not having a fun time. Boy was I wrong. This band was absolutely incredible!!! I had so many people asking me their name and commenting on how fun it was. My sister told me she has never been to a wedding where people never left the dance floor. The band really made this wedding amazing. Due to covid we only had about 53 people total and we were so worried for nothing. The band had me the groom up on stage singing and dancing with them. We had gone through their list of songs and marked which ones we liked/disliked, but with all the craziness of the wedding I never got around to sending it. This made me even more nervous because I hoped they wouldnt play things no one liked. Again, so wrong. They knew exactly what to play, they played classic rock, current pop, 90's music, some Motown, R&B, Sinatra for dinner set. They knew what would get people dancing. My husband who is a huge Alabama fan got pulled up on stage to sing sweet home Alabama. He loved it! Mark was incredible as well. He never minded to talk with me on the phone about our goals/worries for the wedding. He gave me the best piece of advice that if the bride and groom are having fun, the rest will follow and he was definitely right. We both agreed all night that this was the perfect choice. We were absolutely blown away with them! Definitely a must book for your wedding.”

“I knew I wanted a DJ that was familiar with the Rabb House sound system limitations and I saw Jason had worked the Rabb House before. He offered a discount if we paid in cash and threw in extras like uplighting which really helped set the mood. He listened to and followed our preferences for music and, I was surprised, actually got people dancing. He was great a emceeing the event as well, very helpful announcements and not cheesy.”
