Originally built in the early 1900s for luxury faucet manufacturing, the 22,000 square foot warehouse sat empty for decades. The creative potential of the location caught our eye, and in 2016, we went to work to renovate the building. Daytime Ceremony Only: We offer a ceremony only option at our Butterfly Garden or Rhododendron Garden. An outdoor ceremony only can be scheduled at 10:30am, 1 pm, or 4 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or at 1pm on Sunday. Ceremony only rental includes a two hour rental, an indoor rain location, 45 minute rehearsal, ceremony chairs, time for photos on the grounds, guest parking and admission- as well as staff to assist in the coordination of the ceremony. Evening Reception and Ceremony: Receptions at the Holden Arboretum are held after the arboretum closes to the public and can start as early as 6pm and end as late as 11:00 pm.

Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. (If you know of Lakewood, you know parking is a hot commodity)
