We were really unsure of locations and he had great suggestions that he ran by us and offered ideas ahead of time and during the shoot, he helped adjust as we looked at the lighting and space. We both expressed how unsure we were about taking professional pictures since this was a first for us and were not comfortable with a lot of the trendy shots and he really worked with us to make all the poses feel natural to us while still looking phenomenal. We decided to go with his associates for the big day based on our budget and they did not let down. Mario specifically picked two photographers who were familiar with our venue and had great suggestions for where to get the best shots. Our two associates, Rachel & Alyssa, were helpful, kind, fun, professional and absolute champs to get all the best pictures on our day. While in the process of picking a photographer, Laura and I chatted over Zoom and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy Laura was to talk to, as well as how organized she seemed with her planning. Leading up to the wedding Laura was very communicative and answered all my questions immediately. The day of the wedding she arrived right on time and was incredibly organized. Her second photographer, Bia, was also a pleasure to work with. She was professional and fun- the kids in our wedding party loved Bia and she was able to capture amazing pictures. My fiance and I were somewhat dreading all the group photos that a wedding entails, however Laura ran this process so smoothly we actually had fun taking the photos! “Where do we begin! Nina and Will at Film and Frond helped ensure our NYC elopement went perfectly to plan, and we can’t thank them both enough for everything! Our photos are incredible and we will treasure them forever as perfect keepsakes of our special day in NYC. As we were travelling to NYC from overseas (Scotland) we were nervous about the logistics and the risk of the weather changing. In our two Zoom calls prior to our trip, Nina was so reassuring and we made sure to cover all bases incase of a change in schedule or rain. On the day of the elopement, Nina and Will met us early in the morning at our hotel, and were the perfect companions for us venturing round NYC for photos before our City Hall Ceremony. They are both the sweetest, most authentic people and there was zero awkwardness. Both my husband and I were a little nervous about being in the front of the camera, but with Nina’s help we forgot we were being photographed at all and simply enjoyed the day. We love the photos which have been delivered, such a beautiful variety of shots in Dumbo, at Brooklyn Bridge, City Hall and in Soho. Opening our full gallery was like being back in New York, and took us right back to the magic of the day.
