Hi. I’m Josh. Our work is based in Washington, DC and we’re happy to travel. The best photographs are simple, unobtrusive, and spontaneous. We’ve always sought to remember things exactly how they happened - how we felt. This is how authentic photography captivates us. The goal is to photograph your day as it unfolds naturally. Take a few moments to go through some words from past clients describing their experience with us. You’ll also find us on Google.

Awarded Best of Zola
My wife and I connected with Josh in September 2019. We reached out to him via email to inquire about his services as a wedding photographer. Josh was very professional and did a wonderful job answering all of our questions. We were so eager to book him as our wedding photographer that we had sent him our deposit before we even had our initial planning meeting. Josh was grateful for our confidence in him. It was important to him that we at least meet so we can make a decision to confirm or withdraw our deposit. We were so impressed with Josh’s work that it was an easy decision to book him as our wedding photographer. Working with Josh was an absolute dream! He is very detailed oriented and always accommodating with our requests. He provided fantastic recommendations on where to have our photo shoots. In May 2020, we had to reschedule our wedding to the following year due to COVID. Josh reassured us that he would be with us all the way and that we would figure it all out together. Our deposit would be carried over to the next year, and Josh had even offered us a free photo shoot. This truly shows that Josh cares about his clients and will go the extra mile for them. There were a number of times when my wife and I would meet up with Josh to have lunch together. We would talk about plans for upcoming photo shoots, discuss the wedding itinerary, and get to know each other more. We all share common interests, and we just hit it off from the very beginning. I knew right then and there that we didn’t just get a wonderful photographer for our wedding; we got a new friend for life. Josh did such a phenomenal capturing every part of our wedding day. From getting ready in the morning to the wedding reception, the pictures that Josh took were absolutely breath taking. His style is truly simple, unobtrusive, and spontaneous. Because of him, we have all these wonderful photos to look back on and remember for the rest of our lives. Later that evening, I remember Josh coming up to me to let me know that he was done for the night and was about to head home. I was so surprised how time went by so quickly that day! I joked around and said, “No, please don’t go!” Our wedding day is by far the best day of my life that I didn’t want that day to end. With his giving spirit, Josh had offered stay a bit longer for us. However, I wanted to abide by our contract, and my wife and I thanked him for all that he had done for us that day. I knew that we would be seeing each again in the future. This was just the start of something beautiful. For all of those searching for a wedding photographer, I highly recommend Josh. You will have the time of your life working with him, and the moments leading up to the wedding will be captured perfectly. Have confidence in him like we did, and you all may be onto something beautiful.

Justin Kunimoto Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,200

First and foremost, congratulations! This is an exciting time! Before I begin with all the details, I would like to do away with the formalities and keep it light. Technically speaking, I’m a photographer, but honestly, since establishing my business in 2014, I would consider myself a teammate through this process. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know couples, their families, their stories, and at the end of the day, becoming a good friend. If this vibes with you, we are off to a good start :) Answering questions, transparency in communication, and prompt responses are important to me and I hope that everything I share resonates.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Justin, both personally and professionally. He is extremely organized, communicative, easy going, talented beyond measure, and is also a great/fun person to be around. So thankful we stumbled upon his work and were able to book him for our engagement photos and wedding/elopement. We will cherish our pictures for a lifetime.

Arie T. Photography, LLC

4.9

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,995
  • Serves Rodeo, CA for additional fees

Welcome to Arie T. Photography, a black queer woman-owned and operated traveling portrait and wedding photography service based out of the Georgia and Michigan! I've had the honor of capturing all walks of life across the USA with hopes of taking it worldwide. I'm known for my use of natural light, and "unposed” stress-free approach when it comes to my clients. If you feel like you’re awkward in front of the camera, I’ll take that as a challenge to prove you wrong because I can be awkward too.

Awarded Best of Zola
Wow, where to begin! Arie did a phenomenal job as our wedding photographer! We found Arie through the business Once Like A Spark, and with scheduling her short notice (2 weeks before the wedding), she did an amazing job capturing our vision and style. We honestly love each photo she took and had a really difficult time choosing 60 out of 500 for our album! Arie communicated really well before and throughout the wedding day, was on time to capture getting ready photos, and was attentive throughout the whole night. We admired how she took creative liberty and made sure to capture all the key moments as well as the small, sweet moments too. Even during dinner time, Arie made sure we got photos with each guest, which we greatly appreciated. While we only spent one day together, Arie seems like such a great person with a passion for capturing wedding days with love, care, and a dash of humor. Definitely book Arie for your next event, you won't regret it!

Carmelisse Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,550
  • Serves Rodeo, CA for additional fees

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
PSA: Attention all future lovers, hire Carmelisse to capture your best day ever! I have been a huge fan of Carmelisse for years and have followed her in hopes and dreams to have her as our photographer for our wedding, which *fast forward* came true! To showcase her sweet demeanor, she sent us a survey to get to know us as partners and understand our vision. For our engagement shoot, she made us feel comfortable as she played music, helped us pose, and prompted us to flirt with one another to get a great shot. At the end of the night, as it was reaching golden hour in the mountains, Carmelisse brought us a bottle of champagne to toast to our love and photographed us slow dancing as the sun was setting, a core memory that we will never forget. Carmelisse exemplifies herself as an unofficial bridesmaid and I can attest to that! Personally, I did not have a wedding planner since the venue came with a day of coordinator. Leading up to the big day, I confided to Carmelisse about the order of events and details. Similar to the engagement shoot survey, she was intentional and sent us another survey to understand our wants for the wedding day. Until this day, my husband and I credit Carmelisse and her teammate, John, for keeping our timeline in order because without their professionalism we would’ve been lost. Throughout the day, Carmelisse and John kept us calm and collected with all the emotions of the day. In addition, Carmelisse handled our photo booth, which was excellent quality and our family loved the fact they could do gifs and save the photos directly on their phones. All in all, they were our hype people, our comfort, and helped us live in the moment and enjoy the best day. Carmelisse is our number-one recommendation for any occasion! She is literally an angel and a true artist in her craft. Thank you so much, Carmelisse! I will keep on preaching your brand until the end of time.

Leah Flores Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Rodeo, CA for additional fees

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have used many photographers in the past but none came close to the level of expertise that Leah possesses. Over the years, I've done business headshots with her, family photos, and most recently my wedding. Since I have used Leah's services for other things before, I knew what to expect as far as photo-quality goes; the real testimonial comes from how she handled the wedding. Shooting a wedding in another country with a chaotic family is no easy task, even I wouldn't wish it upon myself, but Leah truly knocked it out of the park: she checked in before the event day to go over the schedule, showed up early, got all of the extra shots that I requested, directed people, and just really took charge of the experience. Having her as my wedding photographer was literally one of the only non-stressful decisions I made for that event lol. The photos turned out beautifully, I really can't imagine having anyone else capture one of the most important events of my life. I recommend her wholeheartedly!!

Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,000
  • Serves Rodeo, CA for additional fees

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
We worked with Gabbie for our wedding and she absolutely blew us away. From the start, she was so easy to work with and got to know us, our story, and our style. We first had an engagement session with her, where she had a beautiful location in mind that fit our style perfectly. My husband and I were nervous because we're not used to being in front of the camera, but Gabbie's calm and fun nature put us at ease immediately. She has a way of creating certain moments that don't feel completely posed and resulted in absolutely stunning photographs that we cherish to this day. We were an original COVID couple (postponing our wedding a month before it was meant to happen in Spring 2020) and were so thankful that Gabbie was willing to work with us and all of the fluid changes we were dealing with daily. On the wedding day and all of the chaos that comes with it, Gabbie was a steady and calm voice amidst the craziness. She did a killer job despite dealing with on and off rain. She has this amazing ability to blend right in throughout the day while beautifully documenting our special moments. Once we received our complete gallery, we were speechless. The time and effort she puts in to selecting and editing every single image shows how truly invested and caring she is. She even managed to photograph little moments we didn't even notice her there for. She captured the spirit, love and fun of our wedding perfectly. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Raw By Laura

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,100
  • Serves Rodeo, CA for additional fees

My name is Laura and I am bilingual (English/Spanish). I moved to Arizona in the beginning of 2022 from New Jersey. It has been bittersweet to redefine myself in a new state. One thing I absolutely refused to leave behind is my love for photography. I moved here with my husband for a change of speed. It has been such a beautiful change! Just like you, I too am in love with the views Arizona has to offer. I am a nontraditional wedding photographer, I am there for all the feels that come with your big day. The tears, the smiles, the laughs, the dancing... Moody, warm and candid photography. Photos to make you relive the moments later

Laura was amazing! From our first meeting we clicked really well. She was super easy to work with and handled the chaos throughout our wedding very well. We are absolutely obsessed with our photos and will be using her again for any of our future photography needs. She is extremely personable, well spoken, and understanding. Couldn't be more satisfied with our investment in her services.

Lindsey Paradiso Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200
  • Serves Rodeo, CA for additional fees

Like most children in the late 90's and early 00's, I grew up with a camera in my hand. I went through polaroids, video cameras, disposable cameras, waterproof cameras, and film cameras; all the cameras! I was so fascinated by photography and the ability to preserve moments. I'm an ENFP, 7w6, and extroverted-introvert who is not only thrilled but humbled to be a witness and historian to the significant moments in your life we are able to share together!

We used Lindsey for our engagement and wedding photos and absolutely loved her! She was so communicative and flexible! One of the spots that we wanted to shoot at wouldn’t allow us to, so she was able to think on her feet and found us a couple of other locations that turned out great! The same thing happened for our first look - there was too much fog at the first location, so she was able to figure out an alternative on a really short timeline! Our pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL and I’d love to use her again for future photography needs!

Peyton was incredibly professional during both photo shoots we had with her. I decided I wanted to do a boudoir shoot for my husband and was nervous. Peyton made me feel comfortable and excited about the next outfit and poses. For our wedding, Peyton came to the venue early and ensured that everything went smoothly. She scouted areas to make the best pictures. She also made me feel comfortable during the photography portion of the day. One thing to mention and I can’t thank her enough for it: she was flexible with the timing and ensured that we knew it was our day.

From the moment Alissa and I connected I knew she was going to be a great fit for us. She was very flexible as far as booking our engagement shoot and went above and beyond to get us all the photos we wanted, we even hung out a bit after and had a drink, she's fun!! Come wedding day I was having some issues with another vendor and Alissa was more than willing to step in and help in any way she could. Both my husband and I have very large families so when it came time for family photos she did a great job at making sure we got what we needed and moved on so that we can enjoy our time and not spend hours corralling family to get photos done. We ended up needing her to stay longer to capture our exit and she was more than willing to add more time. After just a few days we got back 50 photos for our sneak peak and were soooo in love with the way they turned out!
