I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!

I began, 2017; ‘Editorial Fashion’ working with modeling agencies. Then doing my 1st wedding by request in Taiwan for a Luxury Editorial style wedding. I completely fell in love with wedding imagery and the process that all goes into the experience. From there ‘I’ became ‘we’ as my team grew. Having refined our Luxury Editorial Image over the years!

I started Megan Pontius Photography after I graduated Highschool in 2021. I didn't really get into couples photography until I got married in 2022. It wasn't until then that I really saw the different seasons in a relationship. Between the first date, to the 100th date, to getting engaged, stress of wedding planning, to the wedding day, and the days after that taking on life together.
