I’m Jessica, the owner, cake designer, and baker behind Louisa’s Homemades. Louisa was my middle name growing up, so I revived this family name through my business. I come from a food family with two Grandmas who will not take “no” for an answer when asked if you’d like something to eat! This stately Georgian features an upper brick promenade surrounded by a limestone balustrade and opens to a double curved staircase to the lower terrace. The mansion's interior boasts extravagant architectural embellishment. Marble floors, ornamental cornices, plaster friezes, 18-foot columns with gilded Corinthian capitals, and custom crystal chandeliers please the eye from the onset. A Jeffersonian pool house with a hexagonal raised dome presides over a circular pool with bluestone terraces and a limestone balustrade.
