My name is Chief and I'm the founder of Chief the Creator. This business came about from my passion for shooting and capturing stunning imagery. I started out with photography but soon found a stronger passion for videography. I love creating cinematic videos and being able to capture all of the most important moments of your big day and turning them into a beautiful, telling love story. While I have gravitated towards videography, my wife Amanda has fully taken over the photography aspect. Her love for photography and her ability to connect to our clients is unmatched. Mariachi Hidalgo was founded in 2017 and is led by our Musical Director Hernan Hidalgo Treviño who is a first-generation musician within his family. At the age of 21, Hernan is New York City’s, as well as the East Coast’s, 1st ever “Youngest Musical Director of a Mariachi Band”. Hernan graduated from the CUNY of Hunter College as a Music and History major to better prepare himself for both the musical and culture of mariachi. Within the first 2 years, Mariachi Hidalgo has performed in some of New York's exclusive places. Hernan's main goal is to inspire and motivate other youths to continue this musical tradition of mariachi.
