We specialize in event planning and photography services so we knew one day we had to create a space for other people to come in and host their events + photoshoots. Our goal is to make the process of hosting your event as easy as possible so you don't have to stress the small things. We take care of table, chair and linen set up and tear down so all you have to do is light cleaning before you leave! We are also one of the few venues in the area that have no catering requirements and we offer BYOB for beverages. Legend has it that Dr. Reese purchased the home in Savannah and had it moved board by board in 1820 to its present location. It now sits on just under 2 acres and has frontage on three streets. Home of the Athens YMCA from 1889 until 1919, the original building on this site became a music store, movie house, hotel, Masonic Temple, furniture company and Sears Roebuck store before being replaced by the Elite Theatre in 1935. Except for a brief period as a Methodist church, this theatre – later renamed the Georgia Theatre – has served as a significant performance venue for emerging and established musicians from Athens and beyond. Devastated by a fire on June 19th, 2009, this historic concert hall has been rebuilt as a labor of love with reverence for the creative spirit that Athens has long embraced. With special thanks to the people of Athens and all who worked so diligently to restore her and make her better, the Georgia Theatre stands proudly reborn.
