Indoor space can accommodate about 50 guests and the cottage features a brand new, spacious covered patio that can accommodate up to 100 guests, complemented by expansive outdoor grounds. With its rustic charm and picturesque setting, Country Ridge Cottage provides a beautiful backdrop for intimate gatherings and grand celebrations alike. The venue also offers 100 clear Chiavari chairs with white cushions, 60 white folding chairs, 8 tables for outdoor events, about 24 club-style chairs indoors, a bar table, and a sound system for added convenience and comfort.

We have on site lodging as well as a smaller venue for your rehearsal dinner.

Our tasteful antique accents are incorporated into the modest decor, making the space beautiful as it is, or easily elevated to more lavish events. Guest of The Station have full use of the foyer, bar, bridal and groom suites, large gathering room, inclusive farmhouse tables, additional seating and tables, bathrooms, sound system, and kitchen! In addition to these amenities, our guests frequently appreciate the functionality of our large rolling door that opens up onto the urban sidewalk of Downtown McKinney. We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! Our boardroom makes an excellent option for a bridal party getting ready room along with house made Mimosas and culinary selections.
