Honestly, I screen shotted some of his still frames from the teaser and sent those out to family. Where do I even start with the teaser, the highlight film, and feature film. I feel like no words can really do it justice to describe what he created. It's one thing to showcase the important moments of your wedding, but to do it in a way that you (as the bride) are jealous of the bride and groom in the video, that's crazy. I was jealous of my own wedding. Like he made us look famous... how the heck! Its wild. He also chose and edited the film in a way that was so unique compared to the other wedding films that he had created. It was perfect. I kept asking him, "how did you pick that song? how did you know that song encompassed our vibe?" He said the song was perfect for the atmosphere, he took the essence of the day and the vibe and energy from everyone and showcased it the best he could, as much he could, in that short 1 min teaser. Literally I was floored. I don't know how he captured so many intimate moments, it was like he was a ninja with the camera. And I don't know if you are self-conscious and anxious like me, but having a videographer that you are comfortable with, is everything. He hyped us up, made us feel confident, all while not being too in your face. Anthony is the best, his artwork will floor you, and he truly is the best investment of your wedding.”

“As a classically trained chef, I hope my review of La Mila inspires anyone doing their “homework” to earn an A — for themselves, especially their guests. I’ve been to many weddings, and the food served is often an edible afterthought. How many times, when leaving a wedding, were you asked, “What did you think about the food?” — and you replied with shrugged shoulders, “Eh, it was okay.” That is not the case with La Mila. A huge shoutout and thank you to Sandy, who was able to pull together a phenomenal menu all in a very timely timeline. Sandy was honest, upfront, and available around our busy work schedule. The day before and the day of, Sandy was there to help with setup — from the big asks, like helping move furniture, to the small tasks—like lighting lanterns and ensuring no glass of champagne for our toast was served empty! Given our wedding took place at our home, we thoroughly appreciated Sandy staying late to clean the kitchen, empty overflowing garbage, and make sure our home was not a war zone when we woke up the next morning! Elie’s execution of our menu was stellar. As a classically trained chef, I was thoroughly impressed by the well-run machine Elie could create within our garage, the makeshift kitchen for the event. It rained on our wedding day, and we were blessed with a beautiful, vivid rainbow—right before dinner service. This blessing brought all our guests outside for 30 minutes—right before dinner. A major wrench in the moment-by-moment timeline. I know how this, for many chefs, can be a disruptive, unexpected delay—but Elie did not miss a beat. All of our guests raved about the food—notably friends who I graduated with from the Culinary Institute of America. One thing I learned in culinary school is that you “eat with your eyes first.” Simply put, Heidi’s presentation skills are on point! Her attention to detail in creating beautiful food displays, notably for our cocktail hour, showed the care, thought and love we wanted our guests to feel. Sandy, Elie, and Heidi may be the stars of La Mila’s show—but the success of our wedding would not have been possible without their hard-working and friendly staff. One of the elements that sold us on choosing La Mila, was their well-stocked arsenal of kitchen equipment they brought on site. (Most caterers require you rent equipment separately, which is not only more expensive, but introduces a whole new dimension of moving parts.) La Mila was also able to include chinaware, silverware, and the majority of our glassware! They even included soft drinks, water, condiments, cocktail napkins, etc. — all of this, and they still came in under what we were quoted by other caterers. Thank you, Sandy, Elie, Heidi, and the entire La Mila Catering & Events team, for making our wedding day what it was. Your talent, professionalism, and experience were felt by everyone who took part in our special day.”

“When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we determined early on that we wanted someone who was professional, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and great at what they do. We also specifically wanted timeless, effortless, and natural photos. After speaking to about 5 photographers and not feeling like we found our match, we came across Rich’s work. We immediately fell in love with his photojournalistic approach, his timeless work, and the way in which he captured the raw, authentic, and genuine parts of a wedding day. After our first conversation with Rich, it was clear that we found the photographer we were hoping to find! Rich is not only incredible at what he does behind the camera, but he is also a wonderful person to the core. It was clear that Rich genuinely cares about his couples and wants to do everything he can to make them feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy. Communicating with Rich was easy and stress free. He responded to each email with enthusiasm and professionalism. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was asking too many questions, which meant so much to me as a bride. “I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. I'd highly recommend her services to preserve a piece of your special day.”

I normally don’t wear a lot of makeup and was a bit nervous for the process—but she took my concerns into account and helped put me at ease, giving me the more natural look that I wanted. She was flexible when I asked for certain changes during the process and executed everything flawlessly! My hair was also perfect—I wanted it a certain way to match some traditional clothing from my culture that I planned to change into. I couldn’t find too many inspiration photos, but she was able to give me exactly what I wanted based on how I described it. I got so many compliments for my hair! Both the hair and makeup stayed intact the entire day. She put so much care and effort into both. She is also super professional and flexible. She arrived right on time and was great to talk to. It was so much fun getting ready and chatting with her and the photographer—she even helpfully pointed out some good angles for the photographer to take of my hair.
