Bellevue Hall features stylish dining rooms, elaborate marble fireplaces, a sophisticated wood-paneled library, and an enormous central foyer with a grand staircase. The unique hour glass shape of the Figure 8 Barn was designed by William duPont, Jr. as an indoor horse training facility. The estate was purchased by the State of Delaware in 1976. Enclosed on three sides, the Music Garden is a peaceful oasis while still maintaining access to all that the park has to offer. The timeless stone patio with scattered wrought iron tables and chairs is shaded by a large veranda supporting a trailing wisteria vine. Take a step back in time at the Mount Pleasant Meeting House. The venue is located on the property of a nineteenth-century estate, the original home of the du Pont family, now home to Hagley Museum. With 235 acres of grassy meadows, towering trees, and historic heirloom gardens along the banks of the Brandywine River, you're sure to capture incredible photos of your special day. The property features three distinct event facilities for hosting weddings, the capacity varying from an intimate gathering of 20 guests or fewer, to an outdoor celebration with 200 guests.
