I have participated in almost a dozen weddings in my life, and I could never have dreamed that the least stressful wedding of them all would be my own! The owners went above and beyond helping us to prepare and kept us from dealing with so many undue headaches. Proactive doesn't even begin to cover it. The Venue itself is stunning and cannot be properly described in words. Please take a moment after reading this review and just take a look at a few pictures of the views that it offers, they will depict it far better than I can. Raylene is the best, and I cannot stress enough that if you want a low stress, highly knowledgeable, and outstandingly friendly venue, this is the place for you.

The Historic Drish House is an elegant, affordable venue near downtown Tuscaloosa and The University of Alabama. Built in 1837, the Drish House has been thoughtfully renovated with comfort and convenience in mind.

I had a fabulous experience working with Nika and her team for our wedding at the Historic Drish House. The Drish House is a beautiful venue with lots of options for neat photos. We had about 115 guests; our ceremony was inside and our reception was in the tent! The inside ballroom has beautiful chandeliers and wood floors, the upstairs was the perfect place to get ready and hang out pre-wedding, and the tent provided a fun spot to have dinner and dance on the black and white checkered dance floor. 10/10 recommend!

For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Had our wedding at this venue Summer of 2024. The owner was a sweetheart and walked us around each of the event spaces before we chose this one. He was clear on us not needing to have event insurance or a bartender as long as we kept the available alcohol to a minimum. Can use all our own vendors for food and entertainment. Awesome pricing compared to other local event spaces. The issue we ran into was with the assistant. She kept pushing us to purchase vent insurance; emailed and called several times about it. To the point where it almost seemed like it was "policy" to purchase it. BUT IT ISNT. But because of the persistent calling/nagging about the event insurance (less than 80 people total mind you) we ended up purchasing it to please her and stop all the questions. Waisted the 100 dollars. The event space was beautiful; and everything was awesome the day of the wedding. We just wanted there to be less nagging about purchasing stuff that we did not have to purchase. We were managing a tight budget with our wedding; and the pressure to buy stuff we didn't have to have was annoying and upsetting. The owner made it seem like no big deal and that it was totally up to us if we wanted to hire out a bartender/ insurance. The assistant asked about it EVERY TIME WE TALKED; always "hey just reminding you about the event insurance" and every time I would ask if it was now required to get it. She would say not but then would give all the reasons to have it. Even when a family member made a payment on the venue (helped us cover half the cost) she got a email back about the alcohol policy and event insurance. Resulting in further confusion and upset. Didn't seem like she was gonna stop until she had it her way. When it comes to wedding planning you are already balancing several things; last thing you want to do is deal with a assistant who keep pushing you to buy something; acting as if you HAVE to when you DONT. Still; the best day of our lives. Wouldn't change a thing about the day of. Just wish she would have not added to the stress leading up to it.

All in a picturesque setting on a secluded 35 acre farm. Hereford Hills Event Venue is located on a 35 acre Registered Hereford Cattle Farm. It is conveniently located between Columbia, MS and Sumrall, MS. We are approximately 30 minutes outside of Hattiesburg, MS. We offer a bridal cottage with attached grain silo for a dressing room. The bridal cottage has an elegant rustic feel. We also offer a small grooms cabin for the groom and his party to hang out in until the big moment.

We had the greatest day here! The location is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful! The barn is my favorite part, beautifully handcrafted and rustic! The price and the people are awesome!

Features include two suites for bridal party dressing areas before the wedding. The Grand Staircase is the perfect view for every bride to make her ceremony entrance or for the couple to be introduced into their reception. The upstairs balcony offers a birds-eye view of the dance floor and activity below.  Our beautiful, original copper bar is the centerpiece of the downstairs, boasting a hand painted glass window from 1915. The Bottling Company provides event management teams dedicated to making your wedding dream a reality by working with you to create a customized wedding package for your special day.

The Bottling Company was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was so enthusiastic, helpful, and accommodating throughout the planning process and on our big day. Their communication was always timely, professional, and efficient in bringing our vision to life. The historical building provided a beautiful, elegant backdrop with its exposed brick and rustic wooden beams. We showed up day-of to find their team hard at work setting up and decorating. When it was time for the ceremony, we can downstairs to a completely transformed venue that looked like the botanical garden I dreamed it to be. Anything we needed, the kind and creative team was right there to handle it and go above and beyond. With their years of experience, they knew just how to pull off the wedding of our dreams. We are so grateful to the Bottling Company team for everything they did to make our wedding absolutely perfect! 10/10 recommend.

As a planner there are many times vendors put obstacles in your way. In my experience with probably 25+ weddings that I have done at The Sheraton PCB they are some of the best. Working with Karen and Sam over the past few years has been a great experience. They are willing to work with my clients and work through all of the requests made. Always willing to work with each situation and they realize every wedding is different and every wedding comes with its own set of demands. They work through them with ease. In terms of the Venue. It is a beautiful resort with beautiful landscaping and the wedding venues are just fabulous. I love referring my clients to The Sheraton because I know they will be well taken care of. The make my job easier.

Azalea Cove Waterside is located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. We have great indoor spaces that can comfortably seat more than 60 for an after-rehearsal dinner and the main building can handle about 100. Outside are several covered pavilions, all with great views of the water and surrounding gardens and forest.
