“My husband and I have never had a big, traditional wedding mindset -- we firmly believe that getting married is about whatever works best for a particular couple so long as they're celebrating their love the right way. For us, that meant doing something intentional, special, and unique. And oh boy, did we ever get that with Tori. I have the absolute privilege (HONOR, really) to know Tori well. I have seen how amazing she is at her job just through the evidence (photos, couples raving about her, etc). but never could have fully understood just how gifted, talented, and amazing she is until we fully experienced it for ourselves. My partner and I eloped at the end of October 2020 in DC, just before the election. It was a whirlwind moment for so many reasons, especially as a queer couple.
