“I am so grateful I stumbled upon Marissa’s beautiful work via Instagram and booked her for our wedding (Aug. 2021). Marissa gave me the wedding hair of my dreams. I showed her a picture and voila! She styled it beautifully. I felt like a gorgeous model (and the style lasted all throughout the night including sweaty dancing and windy photo shoots). She styled my hair, my bridesmaids, and the moms and did absolutely gorgeous work with everyone. She also checks in along the way, making sure you’re completely in love with your hair which I really appreciate. She’s super organized and I had no concerns over her being on time and reliable. It felt like getting to sit and chat with a longtime friend. :) Oh and she cut my husband’s and brother’s hair week of the wedding too and they looked equally as fabulous. I cannot say enough good things about Marissa. If I lived in the Watertown area she would be my go to hairstylist for sure (and maybe my BFF Too??!!).”

I was anxious about finding the perfect MUA and unintentionally waited until the last minute to book someone. Christy reached out right away and was able to easily fit me into her schedule for both a makeup trial and for the day of my wedding. I felt like I did a terrible job explaining what exactly I wanted for my look, but Christy listened patiently, and thoroughly explained my options.
