Welcome to The Mitten Building! Originally built in 1890 as the Haigh Citrus Packing House, it later served as the Mitten Letter Factory from 1940 to 1980. The current owners restored the building, appreciating its historical charm, including its sturdy brick walls, exposed rafters, and extensive wood features. Since 2000, our family has hosted a variety of unique events in its versatile spaces, including the multilevel Main Room, the basement Speakeasy Bar, and the Summerbell Room with its lovely Garden Patio. Our venue is ideal for any type of event—weddings, ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, private dinner parties, fundraisers, cocktail parties, live music, filming, and full venue rentals—accommodating up to 700+ guests. The layout is single floor and clients can decorate the space as needed and very customizable. Clients can rent custom event rentals through us for your special event. We have a beautiful wine bar.
