We are Mark and Courtney, New Jersey based Cinematographers, and now married couple. In the last almost decade we have been a part of many beautiful weddings in NJ, NY, CT, PA, The Berkshires, etc. Our journey as filmmakers started when Mark was asked to capture a few of our friends' weddings. After some time and a BIG push Project 8 was finally created. Project 8 was named after the town Mark was born in the Philippines. Naming our small business Project 8 is special to us because it always reminds us of our humble beginnings.

Beauty By Jamie Parker is a makeup practice based in Pine Brook, New Jersey, that specializes in providing beauty services for brides. She has since earned her makeup certification from Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics & Cosmetology. Jamie helps to put her clients at ease and accentuates their natural beauty.

There is nothing quite like the elegance of strings. We recommend string groups for Wedding Ceremonies, Elegant Dinners, and Cocktail Hours. Whether it is the standard grouping of Violin, Violin, Viola and Cello or a hybrid ensemble with harp or guitar, our players are well versed in both classical and contemporary repertoire. We also have Electric String Quartets. Some clients opt to have the group play acoustic for the ceremony and switch to electric instruments for cocktail hour.

Our Hoppin’ John Steel Band performs Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Carnival, Belafonte, “Beach Music” and standard American selections as well. Instrumentalists in this group include steel drums (or “pans”) of various sizes, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keyboard, horns, vocalists, limbo dancers and other specialists added for special occasions.

The Celtic Balladeers perform all styles of Irish and Celtic music. In the above sound clip they are captured live (VERY live) on St. Patty’s day at Coogan’s on Broadway. The sound clip features our guitar and tenor banjo duo while the complete band includes several other instrumentalists such as guitar, Irish tenor banjo, accordion, fiddle, bass, drums, bodhran, whistle, pipes, flute, mandolin, keyboard, horns, vocalists and dancers. Besides the standard, and county specific Irish material they can also perform a whole catalog of American dance music.

She is also a fabulous classic jazz singer who renders the classics of the great American songbook with a signature French flair. She regularly sells out Birdland Theater leading her own group.
