Kristy May makes unique art for couples planning a once in a lifetime celebration for 2-200+ people. I started my career documenting the beauty and drama of everyday life through the lens of a photojournalist. Longing for more, I traveled to Germany as a Fulbright Scholar to grow and figure out what exactly I was meant to do.

Fate (and a hurricane named Katrina) then brought this Louisiana girl to New York City to assist a top National Geographic photographer. I got a masters in digital photography from The School of Visual Arts and began to freelance for publications on my own. For the last decade, I have devoted myself to capturing the moments that tell the story of a wedding and preserving them for generations to come. After over a decade in NYC, I live in NJ with my husband, daughter and our naughty cat Prince Harry.
