“Gemma was great! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and really listened to what we wanted. She listened to our concerns about getting some of our guests to dance and gave us a lot of great advice going into the wedding day, like adding dance floor props to get everyone engaged and adjusting our anniversary dance so everyone ends up on the dance floor. She worked with us and curated a great wedding playlist. Our guests complimented us on what a great DJ she was. Everyone loved seeing her behind the booth, dancing along with the guests. At one point, one of our guests dropped a glass and she played “Heart of Glass” right after, which was perfectly timed (lol). She really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up while still playing some of our silly requests. She curated a great mashup for the mother/son dance. “We worked with Jeremy for our wedding this past July 2024. We were able to setup our contract early in the year and filled out a thorough questionaire for music choices, announcements, day-of events (first dance song, anniversary dance song, etc.) which gave us a great starting direction for planning the reception. Day of was perfect. Mics were available for our officiant and ourselves at the ceremony, the music quality was great. We had told Jeremy that the songs we elected in the questionnaire were more of a palette of our music tastes and we were thrilled by our/his music choices throughout the day both during the dinner and dancing part of the reception. And for the dance portion of the night, we were blown away by that all the songs were blended and mixed seamlessly stringing the night together. He did NOT just press "go" on a playlist that played through the night be instead weaved songs and kept our party going til the very end.
