One of the most important components to me for our wedding was the flowers. I chose Poppy Flowers because of the look I wanted for the ceremony and reception and with the lower minimum cost required compared to other florists. We went with a pastel theme given we had a spring wedding. I had countless complements on the centerpieces at the reception – they were gorgeous. They were the perfect match for elegant look I wanted. My bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere were also beautiful and what we were expecting. The website was a little glitchy for me in a couple of instances (the IT people had to address the issues) – hopefully they have all of those issues resolved now. Aside from those minor issues, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Poppy. Thank you for providing the gorgeous flowers for our day!

Persephone

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Palmyra, IN

Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where I began my floral journey at a boutique flower shop in the valley. In 2017, I moved to San Diego, CA, and then to Louisville, KY, in 2021. I have been in the floral industry for about 9 years. I started my business in 2019 as jchristine designs and recently did a rebrand where Persephone was born.

Picking my wedding florist was the easiest decision because I made it before we even got engaged. I’d seen Jen’s florals on social media and knew they were exactly what I wanted! Unique, stunning, and creative with different types of elements- not just florals. Jen was amazing through the entire process, listened to what I wanted but was knowledgeable enough to help guide me through the unknowns or what might be the best option for my vision. Beyond flawlessly executing my dream wedding flowers, you will NOT find someone who pours more of her heart and soul into ensuring she’s prepped for your big day. I put every ounce of trust in her and she did not disappoint. Book her, you’ll be grateful you did!!

I absolutely loved my experience using Flower Moxie. I was nervous about doing my own wedding flowers at first, but their team made me so comfortable. I was even able to do the grounded floral arch I wanted and my own bouquets and boutonnieres. Alexa helped me add flowers to my order and made sure everything was perfect for my big day. Thank you so much, Alexa! I'll be sure to refer all my friends to Flower Moxie!!

Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Since I was little, I’ve always known that my future involved something with a creative outlet. Our team focuses on designing the perfect arrangements to elevate your day, as well as providing coordination and planning services to make everything a breeze!

Awarded Best of Zola
I can’t rave enough about this fabulous small business! Cassidy and her team did both our florals as well as our coordination for our June 2024 wedding. We booked The Wild Rose probably about a year and a half before our wedding date and Cassidy was always very responsive the whole time with any questions I had. The flowers were exactly what I had in mind and she even repurposed our ceremony arch flowers over to our seating chart for the reception! Her coordination was flawless and she even redirected a vendor I had who was straying from what I had told her was a top priority for us.
