Having a coordinator through Capriotti's as well also made the wedding planning process and day itself much more relaxed. “We had our dream NYC wedding at Giando on the Water! The location and the view is absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Joe, Liz and the team. We felt like family from our first meeting with the venue manager, Joe. He is easy to communicate with, and guided us with his experience with weddings and other events. His assistant Liz and the staff also put so much love and care into our wedding, and we cannot put into words how much that meant to us. You cannot beat the location, view, and food at Giando on the Water. We would recommend to anyone planning a party or wedding to have it at this venue. Truly a great experience working with them, no notes! We cannot wait to continue to return to this place to celebrate future anniversaries.”

“This is a shortened review due to character limits- Full review can be found on wedding wire under review title "An Exquisite Venue" I owe a huge thank you to the venues coordinator, Hope, who from day one assured me that wedding weekend would be perfect. You often read reviews that say coordinators that work for the venue is not the same as hiring your own wedding coordinator, that they won’t be there to help you make decisions along the way, suggest ideas when you are stuck on something and are merely a day of coordinator who lines the bridal party up and gets you down the aisle. This could not be further from the truth at The Chateau Grande. Hope was the most helpful, caring and knowledgeable person I met during the entire process of wedding planning, bar none. She answered every email (there were many) and texts promptly and would happily get a phone call to discuss things in detail at a moments notice. Hope was extremely flexible in every single way to ensure this was truly “our day”. Hope went above and beyond for each event we hosted, for the rehearsal, she spent hours setting up the candles on the tables exactly the way I had them photoshopped in my inspo pic, she made sure every napkin, place card, menu and our signage was perfectly placed and the room was lit exactly how I envisioned. Hope did not just get us down the aisle, she didn’t just show up that day, she truly built our wedding day with us from the ground up. Hope became a huge part of the wedding to me. She was an integral part of the process without whom I know I would not have had the bridal experience I waited my whole life to have. I can never thank her enough for everything she did. I know she went above and beyond for us and I am forever grateful for her. May 18, 2024 went by in the blink of an eye just as I knew it would. The ceremony was stunning. Immediately upon walking out of our ceremony we were congratulated by staff and handed our signature cocktails, very nice touch.I stressed to Hope throughout the year of planning that the quality and quantity of food is of the upmost importance to my family, specifically my father, who wanted to know that guests would never have to wait for food to be replenished at cocktail hour and that we added enough food options that guests would have an abundance to choose from. We also chose to extend cocktail hour to an hour and a half so guests had more time to enjoy everything. In my opinion this is an absolute MUST and worth every penny. I requested cocktail smoker tops for old fashions at the bar and the request was happily accommodated, such an elegant touch when guests ordered the signature cocktail. The reception was everything and more. The lighting built in to the venue once again, superb. We added our own uplighting package from the DJ as well but the lighting the venue has can easily be used in the event that you don’t want to do any additional lighting packages. Our guests were attended to quickly with anything they ordered at the bar. From salads to entrees, the food was top tier and cooked perfectly. Every detail of our weekend was exquisite. This venue provided such a high end and luxurious feel from the moment we booked with them. Luxury is a running theme at this venue and it is no surprise that a venue this well managed has the ability to accommodate your every request. I wish anyone who gets married the same experience that we had.”

“Absolutely the most beautiful accommodating venue in Chester County. If you have your wedding here, it will not disappoint. They only allow 1 wedding a weekend so you get they full 3 days to set up, have your wedding and then clean up the next day. The owners, Mary and Frank, are super accommodating and its obvious how much they care about each and every wedding they have at their property. Not to mention it is drop dead gorgeous and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was.”

“The location on the river is lovely, and convenient to the airport for your traveling guests. Bridezilla be warned that your outdoor ceremony may briefly be interrupted by an airplane! While weather cooperated with our plans to have an outdoor ceremony, we had a backup plan for inside. The facility itself is beautiful, and surprisingly accessible for your mobility impaired guests. Danielle was extremely helpful in the process! She is knowledgeable, coordinated expertly with vendors, and made our special day awesome.”

“I got married here in June and only have positive things to share!! Our ceremony was held outdoors and was gorgeous. There are endless spots to take beautiful pictures. All of the staff genuinely care about you and never made me feel like just another wedding- and it was noticed! Friends and family all commented how wonderful the venue was and that they appreciated everything being in one place. Alana, our main contact, is so thoughtful & easy to work with and made everything as seamless as possible. She handled everything the day of- it seriously was as stress free as I could imagine! Maria, the bridal attendant, is an absolute dream! She felt like family by the end of the day. She steamed everyone’s dresses, arranged the suite beautifully for pictures and even set up our “details” picture. She knows exactly what she’s doing and was always there to make sure things were running smoothly and provide added support. Everyone raved about all the food, especially cocktail hour (the mac and cheese station was a hit and so were the vodka chicken parm quesadillas. I also personally loved the passed flatbreads and buffalo chicken spring rolls). Once we got to the reception, the night flew by but we truly had such an amazing time!! Maria was still tending to me throughout the night when I needed her- she was there to bustle my dress and make sure I was eating enough!! We then had our after party there and the grilled cheeses were a great addition for a late night snack. Getting to sleep on site in the cabin (and having that space the whole day and night) was another added bonus that you won’t find most places. Could not recommend this place enough!!”

“Sara has been on her A game since the beginning of our wedding booking, and knew most of the vendor i needed in such little time. Max and Anna were all professionals in their respective roles. Max was the most helpful giant in the ballroom when I needed something he was there arm reach. I am forever grateful for him and Sara for being there from the beginning till the end and Sara continues to be of any of assistance to us after the wedding was over. She’s a gem”
