The upstairs of the barn includes original wide plank floors, a 30-foot-high ceiling, exposed wood beams, charming lighting and elegant drapery. There are multiple options both outdoors and indoors for a gorgeous on-site ceremony. The lower level of the barn is temperature controlled and provides a cozy, intimate space for cocktail hour. Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

Stone Ridge Acres started construction in 2019 and just recently started booking for 2021. It lies on a beautiful ridge in the heart of Pennsylvania. Stone Ridge Acres is owned and operated by Mike & Sarah Brubaker who reside in McAlisterville, Pa. Our goal is to provide a venue with a country-style, as the land surrounding is still being farmed, but has the elegant appeal that anyone would admire.
