I'm Caroline, the eyes and heart behind Voisine Vision! I was born and raised in Michigan and found myself in Nashville after finishing my master's degree at Indiana University. I love spending time with people as much as I do with my camera. I am a proud mother of two theatrical cats and one house plant I have not managed to kill - yet. I’m romantically involved with art, history, music, and grand adventures, they serve as my muse and are the driving force behind everything I do creatively.

I have always said I was a beach lover who was land locked in the middle of America. However, as you can see in my wedding galleries I had the pleasure of living and working close to the salty sea air in Annapolis, MD for several years before returning to the Mid West. I currently offer weddings and sessions in the following locations with no travel fees - Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, D.C. and Missouri. I am of course willing to travel to many more locations! I love to travel and will use any excuse to jump on an airplane! The sky is the limit and there are so many wonderful places I can't wait to explore.

We're old enough (gulp) to live through the transition from film to digital, so we are well versed in proper exposure and lighting (we had to be before digital!).

My couples range all the way from attorney’s for the city of Chicago to small town midwest farmers. I’m a good mix of boujee and laidback — a little bit jimmy Choo, a little Lucchese too (but even those boots are pretty boujee.) Needless to say, I’m here for the boujee and the laidback.

My most important advice to couples is be willing to take the TIME for the creative process. My name is Amanda Montgomery and I am Arrae Photography based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The name Arrae (pronounced [uh-rey]) came from my first initial and my middle name, Rae, added an extra r and made a new word. I wanted something unique that was also me, the idea came to mind one day and it just fit. Being a photographer is all I've ever wanted to do with my life. When I was 12 I saved up my babysitting money to buy my first 'big time' camera. I formed Arrae Photography in 2003 as a part-time venture while I worked at local photo labs, went full time in 2008.

I love what I do. I found my way to professional photography in a roundabout way, having started my working career as a marine scientist and environmental educator in CA and then on Maui. The drive to learn more and become a better photographer lead me back to school on the east coast, where I ended up finding a new dream career and a home and community that I love.
