Almquist did an amazing job with everything. Venue was nice and clean ! Beautiful inside and out. Very easy to work with . Unfortunately the day we got married it rained. But Almquist quickly had a plan in place to transition to an indoor wedding. Fantastic people with a fantastic venue.

Hope Glen Farm
Cottage Grove, MN
  • Up to 280 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,500

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Rolling Ridge - Classic Barn & Garden Venue

5.0

St. Joseph, MN
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Rolling Ridge provides a dreamlike location to host events, in an environment that embraces rustic charm, modern elegance and the great outdoors. Bring guests out of the white and sterile venues of yesteryear and into the beauty of nature make your wedding or event experience as enchanting and elegant as your imagination allows.

Rolling Ridge was everything we wanted in a venue! When we first saw the venue we knew it was perfect for our day because there are many wonderful options to have your ceremony, dinner and dance. We knew no matter what that if Option A (having ceremony/dance outside) didn't work out due to weather, then we were perfectly fine with Option B which would be moving everything in doors because everywhere has great ambiance which put us at ease during the planning months. From day one they were so accommodating and truly let your visions come to life. They also were so organized and provided the best planning tools so you felt like you were always on track and they helped you think of all the little details it takes to hosting a wedding. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed when working with Rolling Ridge. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of this venue and we can't recommend them enough to any future couples.
