We super highly recommend Amberly. She captured our wedding day for us on June 25, 2022 in Montana. Before we met in person, she would make sure to communicate with us about everything. Such as all the details about the package, and asked us to send over some vision of what we were looking for withtl the pictures. And honestly, the moment we met her, we didn't feel nervous at all, she was super easy going, fun personality, she gave us clear directions on how to pose, or what to do, and just made it a fun time so we would just be ourselves. Our whole wedding party had so much fun that day with her, just laughing, smiling and just really enjoyed that moment together. She's just generally an awesome person, and goes above and beyond.

As a documentary-style photographer, I truly believe that the essence of life is captured in the unscripted, candid moments that often go unnoticed-- Each click of my camera is more than just a snapshot; it’s an opportunity to freeze time and preserve the love, joy, and uniqueness of your moments for generations to come.

My newly minted husband and I were over the moon from the initial contact with Anna Elisabeth. She is an excellent listener with a superb sense of capturing our wishes in her photographs. We had an unusual experience in that we wanted to capture both of our faith traditions on different days and different geographical areas in the same state. Anna Elisabeth professionally and respectfully photographically savored these traditions beautifully with her photographic gift. She was present and her presence was professionally and discretely demonstrated. Her keen sense of recording precious moments was one of storybooks.. from having the pictures of the bride's mother place, her once veil (when the mother was married 57 years ago) to having the groom's mother putting a family heirloom bracelet on to capturing the special wink given by the groom when he first saw the bride walking down the aisle with her father. All these moments were special at the time and Anna Elisabeth captured them beautifully and discretely. Communication is very important to us, and Anna Elisabeth was professional, prompt and demonstrated honest integrity throughout the entire process. We are providing her a 5 star rating but she is off the charts and anyone who uses her will understand why she should be rated a 10!

I'm a Bay Area native with over 12 years in the commercial photography realm. I got my start on the beaches of Los Angeles back in 2012 shooting commercial swimwear campaigns for some of the best designers in swim and fashion. That opened the door to countless opportunities with modeling agencies, reality television, and fashion design. In 2018 I made the move back up north to San Francisco where I grew up. With a wide network of friends and family up here, I found myself catapulted into the Wedding and Elopement industry - and absolutely loved it! I'm honored when I get to be a part of one of the best days of a couple's life together.

I'm Jarrod. I'm a wedding photographer based in the US. Originally from Florida and now traveling full-time in a Sprinter van shooting love stories. I like to describe my approach to wedding photography as documentary with an editorial flare. About 80% of the day I am capturing your day as it naturally unfolds in a beautiful way. The other 20% I love to prompt you or direct you to create romantic images that have intention and FEELING. Sometimes portraits will feel romantic and editorial and other times they will feel playful and fun. It fully depends on your personal relationship. I love to tell your story as authentically as I can.

Jarrod did an amazing job on our wedding day! We were so very grateful to have him there with us. He was absolutely amazing and did a great job collaborating with our other vendors and coordinating logistics and timing of what we wanted to have done. Sam Starns Adventure Elopements

5.0

  • Serves Noxon, MT

I’m Sam, a TEDx speaker, author, native Oregonian, and adventure elopement expert. And I regret my wedding. Oooof, right? I cried on my wedding day. They weren’t happy tears, either. Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. Imagine having an adventure elopement day that includes whatever floats your boat. Whether it’s adrenaline-packed, laughter-filled, chill vibes, or all of the above. Then add in a kickass connection between you & your partner that’s enabled by dedicating that day TO YOU.

Awarded Best of Zola
Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. I’ve already had friends and colleagues come up to me asking how to elope like we did. My advice is, “Here’s Sam’s contact info – you need to call her.”

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

Whatever the perfect day looks like for you, why shouldn’t that be your wedding day? I am more than your wedding photographer, I am your guide, biggest fan, and the curator of your love story, I will also be the one tearing up from behind my lens.

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer! From our initial meeting, Danielle took the time to really get to know us and understand our vision for the day. She arrived early and jumped into action, ensuring she didn’t miss a single moment. She kept us on track all day, and liaised seamlessly with the venue staff. It really felt like we had friends helping us through the day, having our backs and making sure our vision was realized. The photos are absolutely stunning and truly capture the joy of our celebration. We’re so grateful for Danielle’s professionalism and talent! Book her!

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Get To Know Me: I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Idaho & Wyoming! Though, you better believe I'll travel anywhere for you! I've been doing photos for 7 years now and I'm in LOVE with it! When I'm not doing photos I'm singing/karaoking, going on hikes/nature walks, playing board games with the fam, watching movies/binging shows, listening to music, and doing anything outdoors! I'm also a total foodie, avid reader, and love animals. Fun Fact: My favorite weddings to do are outdoorsy, nature filled, boho, romantic, modern or adventurous weddings! Also, heads up I will fangirl with you over your dress!

Working with Adriana was SUCH a blessing to our whole planning experience! From the start, she was so genuinely friendly & easy to work with! We were planning a wedding out of state and being local to the area that we got married, Adriana went above and beyond to help us! She even knew the venue we were renting and helped me understand what to expect so I could plan with ease! Adriana was always available to schedule a call with & was so patient with my communication through a busy summer! She was even willing to book last minute bridals following our wedding weekend to make our dreams come true of capturing the Teton scenery (not to mention, her immaculate vibes during the shoot!). On top of being the kindest person, she is so talented & captured every emotion from our wedding day in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We are so grateful for Adriana’s talent and kindness and absolutely recommend her to everyone!! Having a small and intimate wedding, Adriana truly felt like a friend celebrating with us! She is just the best!
