Welcome to The Mitten Building! Originally constructed in 1890 as the Haigh Citrus Packing House, the building later operated as the Mitten Letter Factory from 1940 to 1980. Today, thanks to the current owners’ dedication to preserving its historical charm, the space boasts original brick walls, exposed rafters, and rich wood details. Since 2000, our family has proudly hosted a wide range of events in its versatile spaces, including the multi-level Main Room, the cozy basement Speakeasy Bar, and the Summerbell Room with its enchanting Garden Patio. The Today We Become One Wedding and Event Chapel brings a beautiful, modern event space to the Palm Springs, California area. The Chapel features a gorgeous 22-foot vaulted ceiling, dark wood beams, and a refined black, white, and gold theme for your Wedding or other life event. Have your guests and significant other be blown away as the dark-wood double sliding doors elegantly open to reveal you in all your beauty as you take your walk down our 30-foot aisle to the ceremony area. Completely customizable by our team or yours, you have your own unique floral design, decor, seating options, arches, aisle runner, and music. You also have the option of a live stream of the ceremony and/or a keepsake video option. Also offering Same-Day Marriage Licenses and Ceremonies or the ability to plan your union years in advance, you can have the celebration you have always dreamed of in the largest dedicated Wedding and Event Chapel in the Coachella Valley area.
