It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. But then, she played for me a sample mix that Jeremy had put together for a HIIT class and it was pure musical magnificence. We hired him soon after. Jeremy was prompt and polite in communications, knowledgeable, unforgettably friendly, and above all else the master of the party's vibe. He managed to blend Beyonce with MGMT, he got my grandmother dancing to N'Sync, I can't overstate how much fun we had. When we remember our wedding with friends and families, the music is everyone's highlight. I cannot recommend Jeremy highly enough. - Nic My partner and I were looking for a DJ for our wedding. This was a new experience for me, but Jeremy made it incredibly easy. “196 Events was awesome to work with, and we would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for DJ services! They were extremely communicative and responded to every random question we had very promptly. I don’t think there were any issues all night with the microphones or music–everyone was audible and the music was great! I was very particular about what songs I wanted to have playing everywhere other than the dancing part of the reception, and they were able to play the songs I wanted and then find fun songs to encourage dancing during the reception! The website/app they use to help plan out the wedding timeline and associated music/mic needs was super easy to use and made it easy to keep everything straight. Devail and Nikki were both very, very kind people, and very fun and easy to work with! We also used their photo booth services, which was super fun for both us and our guests. We got all of the pictures sent to us digitally also, which have been a blast to look back through. And on top of ALL of that – they also worked with my now-husband to help him sing and play a surprise song for me on a keyboard! Nikki and Devail, thank you both so much for helping to make our wedding such a fun and memorable experience!!”
