Alibi has multiple locations that can fit a variety of event needs. I have hosted rehearsal dinner at their Truckee location, and weddings at their Incline location. The ambiance is very laid back without compromising services standards. Both clients were pleased with their events and I will recommend hosting celebrations there in the future.

I can go on and on about how amazing Toiyabe Golf Club is! My husband (then fiance) and I live in Reno and wanted a beautiful mountainous venue close to home with scenic views when we started planning our wedding in March 2022. When we searched the Tahoe area, everything was either too expensive or too small. Then on our way home, while driving through Washoe Valley, my husband and I spontaneously swung by Toiyabe Golf Club, and I’m glad we did. Not only did the venue have exactly the look and feel we wanted for our fall wedding but Savannah, the venue coordinator, was extremely accommodating! Fast forward to our wedding this past Saturday(October 14, 2023) and we had the most beautiful wedding I could have dreamed! From set up to breakdown, Savannah and her staff were there for us making sure our vision came to life. Savannah answered all our questions(I constantly had questions for her over our 1 year and 7 month engagement) from the minute we signed our contract. She was flexible in accommodating any special requests we had for our big day and never said no to our ideas. The venue also comes with a day off wedding coordinator, ours was Kendra! Wow, she was with us the entire day making sure we were happy and keeping everything on schedule. Aside from checking in on us all day and running the day’s schedule, she also assisted the groom, photographer and I with our wedding photos. She helped call out our family’s names getting everyone needed to the photo area and she brought us a box with appetizers to make sure we ate before the groom and I took our one on one photos. She also came with us on our Photoshoot to make sure my dress looked perfect! I felt so pampered and taken care of. These are just some highlights, but overall, Kendra was with us every step of the way from our first phone call with her a few months before the wedding to the day! Other things about the venue I appreciated was the extensive getting ready space and how staff had it all setup and decorated when we arrived, the venue’s amazing food, and the overall piece of everything. It was extremely affordable for such a beautiful venue! Many of our wedding guests told us it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more! Thank you Toiyabe and staff for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams!!

In 2021, I organized, planned, and coordinated my parents wedding with Roses & Acorns Creekside Weddings. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the information provided was clear and transparent, and the day was as magical as we had hoped. Greg and Laurie communicated effectively and quickly, supported many of our ideas and plans, and Greg was a compassionate and engaging officiant the day of the wedding. He took all of our ideas and suggestions to heart and made the day memorable. Greg and Laurie and other staff were gracious and supportive hosts and we couldn't have asked for anything more. It felt like we have known Greg for years, we were treated like family, and the setting and experience were exactly what my parents' were looking for. I honestly don't know if I have enough time to write all my favorite things about Palisades Tahoe. I have worked at this venue for last 7 years. They quickly became one of my favorite venues to work at, either at High Camp, OVL or many of their other amazing locations like Base Camp, Rocker, Plaza bar etc. They feel like family, the planning staff there are top notch, they truly know how to take care of their clients. The catering staff goes above and beyond for each couple we have together, their food DELICIOUS in all aspects of appetizers, plated or buffet and some of the real show stoppers are done by their pastry chef Cortney. On the wedding day, they are so attentive and work their bums off to make sure that our couples have thee most amazing experiences. I constantly commend them for their professionalism and support through the process to the couples we have together because of the attention to detail and care. It also doesn't hurt that they have some of the most incredible views of Lake Tahoe from High Camp, or beautiful mountains from the garden at OVL and the village. I feel so lucky to be able to work with so many incredible couples on the mountain. If you are looking for a venue, you will not be disappointed with Palisades Tahoe. (Trust me, I work with a lot of venues and they are top of my list!)

Smith Farm was perfect for our wedding! We had a little over 200 guests. SF was affordable, beautiful and had everything we needed! Donna was extremely helpful and went above & beyond what I asked. The Sparks Water Bar was the perfect place for our wedding reception. You get to choose your menu (from pre-selected menu options), napkin colors, and floor plan to name a few. Everyone is so professional and helpful from the moment you start planning. The food was so delicious! The view of Reno/Sparks is beautiful and we highly recommend having your event in the evening where you can see the sunset and you have up until the restaurant bar closes. Because it was our wedding, we got to use the elevator rather than walk through the restaurant and it was helpful for our family members who were unable to walk up a flight of stairs. Any food allergies or preferences are accommodated to the best of their ability. Their focus is making sure you and your guests have a good time. To Samantha, Heather, and the staff working our event on May 29th 2022 we cannot thank you enough for making our reception so fun and memorable from start to finish.

The "Shiny Barn" is the perfect nickname for this spacious gathering place with clean lines, modern touches and gorgeous views from in and outside. It comfortably hosts large and small groups, with options for breaking the space up or having an open floor plan, with a well equipped kitchen to boot. It is very clean and well kept, so it's easy to decorate and add your own touches without having to do a lot of extra work. The venue hosts are generous with smiles and communication and offer local accommodations for groups and great hospitality. As a caterer, I LOVE working in this space! Highly recommended by someone who has been on both sides of a gathering at this lovely venue.

Tahoe Blue Estate is an 8600 SQ FT Luxury Estate sitting on over 1.7 acres of beautiful South Tahoe mountainside. Our home gives you the ability to not only host your wedding (we have both outdoor/indoor ceremony and reception areas), but also has your accommodations built in as well! During your stay (we have a 3 night minimum stay during non holidays), you have the whole home that can provide overnight accommodations for up to 14 people (7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms) and you will be able to host your big day for up to 50 guests (including those staying overnight) as well! This means there is no rushing with a day of venue rental, instead you have multiple days to relax and enjoy your wedding stay.

I've been photographing weddings in the Lake Tahoe area since 2007. I've been luckily enough to photograph weddings at almost every venue around the Lake Tahoe and the Truckee area. When I photographed my first wedding at Tahoe Blue Estate 3 years ago I was floored at how amazing this venue was and couldn't believe that couples could get married here. The views at Tahoe Blue Estate are amazing and seem fake at times even though it's real. Tahoe Blue Estate is one of my top three wedding venues to photograph at in the greater Tahoe area. This is one of those venues that you must see with your own eyes to grasp the pure beauty of the grounds and estate. If you're planning a smaller wedding or an elopement please take a site visit or book them immediately before your date is gone.

Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is the perfect choice for couples wanting a unique alpine wedding that is “chic-yet-cozy, opulent-yet-intimate.” Couples can choose from one of our many options for their receptions from 20 to 250 guests. Our spacious Queen of the Lake Ballroom can host up to 250 guests or can be transformed into smaller spaces for a more intimate space, while our Tallac Ballroom and deck can seat up to 80. For our wedding ceremonies, we partner with Lakeside Beach which is just a short distance from our property. We also have our beautiful Garden Atrium, or Heavenly Sundeck for onsite ceremonies.

We look forward to assisting you with planning and preparations to make your celebration full of magical memories. Julietta Winery is located just 20 minutes south of downtown Sacramento, in the beautiful rural town of Clarksburg, CA. Our winery provides beautiful indoor and outdoor settings. Enjoy the serenity of a gentle flowing waterway that runs the length of the property and a variety of colorful flowers, trees, and grapevines throughout, the delta breezes, and gorgeous sunsets. The large lush grass area can accommodate a tent for additional covered event space. Anything you can imagine, we can make happen! Whether you are planning a large group or a small intimate event we have the prefect space to make the day special. You can use a caterer of your choice, or there is plenty of space for food trucks.

Our wedding was going to be on the smaller side but I still wanted it to be more special than just taking place in a hotel conference room. This was a completely DIY wedding, which I was personally funding, and I was doing my best to keep costs under control without compromising quality. After doing countless hours of research online about weddings and venues, it seemed everything would come with a huge price tag - far beyond my budget. I was worried that the challenges I was facing would be insurmountable and I'd have to settle for less than what I'd dreamed of. I knew I wanted to hold it at a winery, preferably one with beautiful views and perhaps a water feature. Clarksburg, being only 15 minutes from my house, was the region I wanted to explore. After visiting two other wineries in the area - one of which had a less than ideal location and poor customer service, and the other that was nice but WAY out of my price range for a 60-person guestlist - my final visit was to Julietta Winery. One of the owners, Julie, gave us the tour and we were immediately grateful for her attentiveness and input. When she showed us the back barn by the slough, I knew this could be the perfect venue! It was private, had separate but adjacent areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, plenty of nearby private parking, loads of charm, and was absolutely gorgeous. It was somewhat of a blank slate, but had special features like chandeliers in the barn and fountains throughout the grounds, and with a few added touches it could certainly be a creative bride's dream. Her suggestions, examples and expertise solidified that conclusion. After seeing the private ceremony site, the reception area and the bridal suite, we were invited back to the main building for a tasting. Unlike the other venues we had visited, all of the wines were equally delicious, further settling the decision to get married there. I even joined the wine club that day. Another thing that set Julietta Winery apart was that they allowed me to bring in my own vendors. A lot of places won't do this. Since I was putting 100% of my effort into making this a wonderful event, it was helpful to have this leeway and I was able to choose my DJ, musicians, photographer, "day of coordinator", transportation, baker and caterer. Julie and her staff were so accommodating, and Julie even took on the task of being an additional "day of" coordinator and "calmer of nerves". The wedding turned out to be everything I could have hoped for and more, and every single guest was amazed by the beautiful venue, the quality wine and the service received. It was perfect in every single way. I just wish I could share pictures with this review. We're so grateful to Julietta Winery!

We rented Golden Hill Ranch for an intimate wedding celebration. The property is stunning, and the pool is so much fun for hanging out during the day. If you’re hosting friends or family from out of town, this is a great option as you can use the property for the pool during the daytime and then use lawn for the evening events. The staff were great and we were so happy with how everything turned out!
