Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. She encouraged me to explore the idea. So, here we are. I named my company after my wife, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

I'm a wedding filmmaker based out of Chicago, IL, and it's my passion for moving pictures. I love capturing the emotion, the details, and the love portrayed the entire day of each special couple. When I think about the importance of wedding films, I often tell my clients that their wedding film is not necessarily for them.
