21c: A modern, timeless, and elegant place to exhibit your love. Our 11:11 wishes came true when we exchanged our vows at 21c Museum Hotel this past November 11th. We hosted a private ceremony surrounded by our closest family members. The event was simple, intimate, and quite honestly–perfect. We were looking for a venue that fit our not so traditional vibe. The location, 21c, provided the most magical backdrop and we immediately knew it was the perfect place to host our #micromony. After visiting the solarium and surrounding galleries in person, we could so visualize our wedding taking place here and it felt like a dream come true. Danielle staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly so we could truly soak up the day. Their grace expertise were so appreciated during this overwhelming, beautiful slightly stressful time. Cheers to an everlasting marriage filled with happiness, laughter and lots of #LiegibelLove. The Center was the perfect venue for our wedding! The space is absolutely beautiful and it’s perfect for couples like us who wanted to have their ceremony and reception in the same place. We had our ceremony in the dome room and our reception in the main ball room and it was absolutely beautiful! We got tons of compliments and how great the space was from our guests. It’s extremely convenient with many parking garages within a few blocks as well as various hotels nearby for guests to stay in. The staff at The Center is absolutely wonderful and even with all of the new restrictions that came with COVID they made sure we still had the perfect wedding. Katie was great and kept us up to date during all the craziness that was going on this spring and always answered any questions we had ASAP. I can not recommend The Center enough!!!

Formerly St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, originally built in 1850. The building was deconsecrated in 1974. That same year the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1981, The Verdin Company, North America's oldest bell and clock company, purchased historic St. Paul's Church. The beautiful building housed The Verdin Company corporate headquarters and the Verdin Bell and Clock Museum. In the late 1990's, The Bell Event Centre was created in St. Paul's Church. Having our wedding at the Bell Event Centre was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredible & easy to work with, and the venue was stunning. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day because once I passed my décor and vision off to the Bell they took care of everything. The food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and the off-season pricing was a steal for the amazing service we were getting.

We had a beautiful wedding at Hotel Covington and overall were elated with how it turned out. Riley was easy and professional to work with as our details specialist, but it felt like other staff members were never quite on the same page. There were miscommunications about so many things I can't even remember them all— no space for the groomsmen to get ready in although that was offered at the time we booked the venue, garage parking was not included although we were told it would be, when we showed up for the rehearsal the staff thought we were having a dinner not our rehearsal and was not prepared for us to be in the space as another wedding was going on on the patio, there was an "event hold" above the cost of the room placed on our credit card which would have been fine, but we were not told about it in advance. All in all, not being told what to expect was our biggest issue. Paying for garage parking, not having the space for the groom's party to get ready, the credit card hold all would have been totally fine and reasonable, but it felt like that information was intentionally omitted. (Again, there was more than that, but I waited a little too long to write this review and can't remember it all at this point.) On the flip side, the staff at Hotel Covington were extremely proactive and helpful with my dad, who has mobility issues. They provided a wheelchair for him to use on-site and staff members went above and beyond to help him when he really needed it. I am eternally grateful for the kindness they showed him and our family. We were very happy with the quality at Hotel Covington, but communication was lacking. Our day-of coordinator alluded to more issues, but she was able to handle them instead of bringing me into it. If you plan to have your wedding at Hotel Covington ask LOTS of very specific questions, have your details specialist write as much detail into your day-pf plan, and bring your own day-of coordinator to act on your behalf, and you will have a lovely day.

The staff were very professional and kind. Even when we had a few bumps in the road, staff was more than willing to help us out! The venue is gorgeous as well and the decorators did a fantastic job setting up my decor. The wedding felt very low stress because everything was being handled so well! The food was so good, too. I definitely recommend The Madison for weddings and any other type of event!

This event center/venue was the best choice I could have made to have my baby shower! The owner is so professional and made the entire process seamless. Her communication was impeccable! Anytime I had any questions or concerns she responded back fast! You have the option to rent the space and/or have her decorate/plan the entire event. I took the total package and was HIGHLY SATISFIED with the results! This is a memory I WILL NEVER FORGET left me speechless tbh! Hands down the best in the city…the pictures speak for themselves. Oh and her prices are extremely affordable! I highly recommend and will be back for future services!

The first thing we knew we wanted out of a venue was a small size - we didn't want more than 60 people in attendance. We picked this location initially with the guest count being are only criteria, but we were almost immediately surprised by so much more. The view, the gorgeous interiors, and the rich history were all things that finally led us to choose this as our venue for our wedding. But, above all else, was the venue owner - Roger Swonger. He went above and beyond to make our day as special as it possibly could be, and with his help, our wedding day went absolutely perfect. With just one planning session, and a couple of tours, Roger was able to guide us through the perfect day. He communicated well with all of the vendors, was able to provide an amazing wait staff, and bartender, and even thought of the small details - placing some flowers on our small wedding cake, putting a pen by the guest book, etc. Most importantly to us, as a now husband and husband duo, was finding a venue that was accepting. This was Roger to a tee - not only did he treat us with kindness, he guided us towards other LGBTQ friendly vendors as well. With his support and guidance, we had a wedding that completely surpassed our exceptions of what a wedding could ever look like in an area like Kentucky. I don't think there is any universe where we could have had a better wedding, and this is all thanks to Roger, and all thanks to having our wedding ceremony at Wiedemann Hill Mansion.

Our venue began in 1928. The historic building was home to The Mt. Lookout Theater. People have been entertained in the space for generations. In 2007 we gave the entire interior fresh start choosing to bring the space back to it's original open layout with a nod to it's Art Deco past. I cannot recommend the Redmoor enough! We had our one year anniversary reception here with 120 guests and everything turned out absolutely magical. The venue sets up all decorations (you provide the decorations), has in house bartenders/service staff, and offers food options from a scratch kitchen. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service by all staff was phenomenal.

We just had our daughter's ceremony and reception here. It was absolutely wonderful. Ann was incredible to work with, making sure everything was taken care of. The day of the event went smoothly. The bar and wait staff received lots of positive comments from our guests. The food was delicious and the place looked unbelievable.... Just what our daughter envisioned.
