Additionally, there are numerous spots for stunning couple formal photos and perfect golden hour shots. The bride can enjoy a beautifully decorated bridal suite complete with chandeliers and styling chairs for hair and makeup. The groom has access to a chalet house and a man cave for relaxation and fun, including yard games. We also offer a day-before option where you can arrive at 12 noon, hang out by the pool, or decorate the tent. Our goal is to ensure a stress-free event, and we provide dedicated staff to make sure everything runs smoothly. The Ellis House is a reimagined boutique Venue and Event space located in Fairmont, WV. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Carriage House was built in 1908 as part of the Watson family estate called High Gate. It was designed by Horace Trumbauer, architect of The Biltmore Estate. Your wedding will have the elegance of a by-gone era. The elements of character show through with a terra cotta roof and verdigris copper accents that are trademarks of the Tudor Revival Style architecture. The event can be held inside the Carriage House with up to 135 guests or under the high-peaked tent in the garden that can accommodate up to 260 guests.
