The Madison Event Center was the perfect venue for our Wedding Day! From start to finish, The Madison team took such great care of all our needs and made us feel so special. The planning process was very easy and stress free because they offer an all-inclusive package and handle everything on site, so we didn’t have to do much. We enjoyed working with the Details Specialist, Riley. She made sure no detail was missed while offering great advice too! It was nice having Hotel Covington next door, we took advantage of the Wedding Room Block offerings, Suites to get ready in on the day of, and we even hosted our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Reception at the Hotel! Our family and friends loved the convenience of it all! When it came to the night of our Wedding, everything was truly perfect! The Madison provides a Banquet Captain to take care of everything throughout the night, our Captain went above and beyond our expectations. We have such beautiful memories to carry with us and are beyond thankful for The Madison & Hotel Covington bringing our dream Wedding to life!

Mary, the manager, was extremely helpful and accommodating, always just a text or call away, which made the wedding planning process so much less stressful. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with true Kentucky charm – spacious, beautiful, and easy to make your own. We fell in love with the charming gazebo, and the flexibility to hire our own vendors, whom made the day even more special. My Old Kentucky Barn is a new venue in an old tobacco barn. The 1800’s barn is situated on over 50 acres on Main Street in Williamstown, Kentucky. Our owner John grew up in Williamstown and, along with his brother Mike, spent a lot of time painting the white board fence and planting Canna bulbs in the spring. John is only the fourth owner of the property in 180 years. The Webb Family were the longest running owners. In fact, they donated land from the property to form Webb Park to the south. John and Edna Risen purchased the property in 1976 and sold it to John over 15 years ago. There is so much history here and we are excited that others can now enjoy the barn. Even though the outside of the barn looks new, all of the old detail is still there on the inside. We know that brides and grooms will make great memories here with their families. It will also be the perfect venue for milestone birthday parties, reunions and other memorable events.

The venue made our special day even more special! There was plenty of room for our approximately 125 guests, the caterer and the music DJ. This venue is absolutely gorgeous, and I am still getting complements on the venue and the food provided by the venue to this day. They really went above and beyond to make my day special and handled every issue that came up without bothering me with it. It was raining the day of and they made the decision to move the ceremony from the outside ceremony site to under their tent, which I was a little upset about (obviously the weather is no one’s fault, it was just unfortunate timing) and about 30 minutes before the ceremony it had stopped raining and the venue and their team moved the whole ceremony back outside! They moved all of my decorations and had everything set up beautifully before we started. The staff were also amazing and super helpful and attentive all throughout the night. They really include a lot in their packages and I couldn’t have asked for more from them. Jeremy did our ceremony and it was beautiful and really heartfelt. I won’t be having a wedding any time soon (haha) but I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a smooth, beautiful wedding.

The Landing at Brush Creek was an absolute delight to work with for our styled photo shoot. Their communication was helpful and incredibly kind throughout the entire planning process. The venue had a beautiful, greenhouse vibe with a boho-chic aesthetic that felt both unique and breathtaking. The gorgeous natural retreat setting was the perfect backdrop for unique photos. After dreaming of marriage and a wedding my whole life, my husband and I finally got to experience all of that. The Winchester Opera House staff made our wedding and planning a dream! They have several options to meet your desires - from the beautiful ballroom, amazing food and drinks, bridal party prep areas (even a special area for the guys, or everyone!), a chapel, beautiful outdoor wedding space, and more right in the heart of downtown Winchester. We had an afternoon wedding with a brunch-themed reception. People are still complementing the food and entire experience, even 7 months later! Many shared some of the food was the best they've ever had. My husband is a foodie, so that part was important to him. The team discussed our desires, brainstormed with us, and created a reception beyond our expectations! We chose to hire the WOH coordinator as our wedding planner (an additional cost that was totally worth it and a deal compared to the cost of other wedding planners). The coordinator and assistant were present at the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Remaining their friendly selves, they also kept our large family on schedule and got everyone where they needed to be on time. We even gave them the challenge of getting 9 kids ages 20 months to 8 years old down the aisle and in their places, and the coordinators didn't hesitate to make it happen and work out kinks along the way. At the reception, they remained available, and one stayed close to us to make sure we were getting what we needed (and wanted)! My husband said the only thing he would change is to make it all last longer. We both loved our entire wedding rehearsal and dinner (we rented the WOH gallery for the rehearsal dinner), wedding, and reception. I highly recommend celebrating such a special event through the Winchester Opera House. They will work hard to accommodate your dreams! My therapist says there is no such thing as a bridezilla, but I think I got close. Amanda and the rest of the Mojave East team did everything in their power to reduce my stress and make my day awesome. I wasn't allowed to get hungry, stressed, or into micro manager mode. They made sure I was focused on my husband and our family. I had a great day, so much that I'm hoping to have our anniversary party there. if they have your event date available, jump on it. It's a beautiful space, the acoustics are nice inside and out, and you can decorate it almost any way you want. They have great relationships with vendors, and make sure your day is wonderful from the time you get out of the limo to the time you get back in at the end of the night.

The first thing we knew we wanted out of a venue was a small size - we didn't want more than 60 people in attendance. We picked this location initially with the guest count being are only criteria, but we were almost immediately surprised by so much more. The view, the gorgeous interiors, and the rich history were all things that finally led us to choose this as our venue for our wedding. But, above all else, was the venue owner - Roger Swonger. He went above and beyond to make our day as special as it possibly could be, and with his help, our wedding day went absolutely perfect. With just one planning session, and a couple of tours, Roger was able to guide us through the perfect day. He communicated well with all of the vendors, was able to provide an amazing wait staff, and bartender, and even thought of the small details - placing some flowers on our small wedding cake, putting a pen by the guest book, etc. Most importantly to us, as a now husband and husband duo, was finding a venue that was accepting. This was Roger to a tee - not only did he treat us with kindness, he guided us towards other LGBTQ friendly vendors as well. With his support and guidance, we had a wedding that completely surpassed our exceptions of what a wedding could ever look like in an area like Kentucky. I don't think there is any universe where we could have had a better wedding, and this is all thanks to Roger, and all thanks to having our wedding ceremony at Wiedemann Hill Mansion.

Kaila and Libby were were excellent in helping me decide how to set up the venue, what the timing should be for each portion of the wedding and making sure that all the little details were attended to. Their response time to my questions over the year (yes, I reserved the venue over a year ahead of time) was within a day; very good! On the day of the wedding, Kaila was with me the whole way, making sure that everything was where it needed to be. She also coordinated well with my florist, caterer and DJ. My friends and family commented on how lovely the ceremony and reception flowed using various sections of the Event Center for various events, i.e. the ceremony on the outside porch, the inside/outside bar area for appetizers/drinks, the remainder of the building for dinner and dancing.

Belles Fleurs & Dessins did a fabulous job with my milestone birthday celebration. Her attention to detail and making my vision come to fruition helped with all my anxiety. Quality of her flowers were superb and they stayed fresh for weeks. Venue was just breathtaking with beautiful sunset views for perfect pictures. Grazing table was mind blowing and so pretty that we just wanted to keep looking and not eat. I would highly recommend for your next event. You won’t regret it!

The Columns turned out to be a wonderful place for my wife and I to have our wedding. We had about 75 guests, plus 10 people working through catering/ venue/ photography/ DJ/ etc. And there was more than enough space! Miriam is an absolute treat to work with and made the whole experience stress-free and FUN! I would recommend The Columns to anyone interested in a small-to-medium sized wedding. :)
