“Working with Holly at Hearth Patisserie was an absolute treat and she did an amazing job helping our wedding vision come to life. One aspect of working with Hearth Patisserie that was unique was that we were able to customize every aspect of our wedding cake and the desserts for our wedding. Holly had provided an incredible selection of flavors to choose from and set up a private tasting for us that allowed us to mix, match, and choose various cakes, fillings, and creams for each layer of the cake. Every element was so delicious that we picked three different flavor profiles for each of the three cake levels. There was a variety of options for other desserts for our wedding as well and Holly made it easy on us to make our selections, all of which were not only absolutely delicious, but the presentation was phenomenal. The dessert table added to the beauty of our wedding day. We very much enjoyed working with Holly for our wedding and are looking forward to more special occasions to celebrate with some of her delicious cakes and treats!”

Gailz Goodiez has catered over 150 weddings with delicious cake pops! With over 30 flavors to choose from, they will certainly please all of your guests. Gluten-free, Vegan, Keto, nut-free and sugar free are all available. Each cake pop comes individually wrapped and tied with either a twisty or a colored ribbon ($1 more per dozen). They are baked and decorated to order and are sold individually (for $3 each) or by the dozen (for $20 reg/$22 gf or vegan) Cookies and other goodies are also available. This is a home based business and all products are home produced under the Ohio Cottage Law.

My main focus is taste, taste, taste - using quality ingredients and made all from scratch. If something looks wonderful, but doesn’t taste good, I do not use it. Part of the reason I began baking and decorating was due to unmet expectations. I don’t ever want my clients to feel as though they didn’t receive what they were hoping for.

“Best desserts ever! Scratch Bakery did our wedding cake, grooms cake, and dessert table for our wedding. Everyone was raving about both cakes and all of the desserts! Our wedding cake turned out STUNNING. And our grooms cake, which was a “Busch latte” beer can turned out PERFECT!! Jill is so talented and we were able to personalize our cakes and she made them exactly how we visioned them. She nailed it!! Our wedding originally was scheduled during the unknown of the pandemic and we had to re-schedule. Jill is very understanding and was so easy to work with! We not only used Scratch Bakery for our wedding, but we also always use Scratch Bakery for all of our events - birthdays, baby shower and just because!! I cannot recommend Scratch Bakery enough!!!”

My name is Amira Fahmy (hence AF 😉) and I’m the baker behind the throwback snacks. I’m a brown girl who was raised in the 90s and I grew up with an endless love for all things Little Debbie and Hostess. A few years ago I set out to build a business around making baked goods that would bring people joy. I bounced around with a few ideas, but once I made my first batch of oatmeal cream pies (OCPs), it instantly became clear…throwback snacks are just kind of my jam.
