In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Big Rock Creek in Saint Croix Falls, WI, is a stunning estate and wedding venue originally established in the late 1800s as a Trout Hatchery. The old barn, standing since 1915, has been elegantly renovated into an 11,000-square-foot event space! This is the place to host your wedding if you want a spot the entire family will enjoy! The history, peacefulness, comfortable lodging, and always on-top-of-it staff will make a weekend you'll never forget. Your guests will rave that they can't believe a place like this exists so close to Minneapolis/St. Paul. We're only 45 minutes from the city! We offer on-site lodging for 24 people in our three cabins and also have camping and glamping available for those that wish to bring a camper or tent or stay in our dome or glamping tents:) A trip to Big Rock Creek is truly a step back in time!

Located just one hour from the Twin Cities and 15 minutes north of Menomonie, the venue offers a mix of natural elegance and modern conveniences, providing a versatile space for weddings and celebrations. Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2024 marks our sixth season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building is currently undergoing major renovation and will be completed by April of 2024. The climate controlled space will feature spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

Nestled in the South East corner of Minnesota, neighboring Wisconsin and Iowa, located right off of I-90, and only a five minute drive from Downtown La Crosse, your big day will be accessible and convenient for both local and out of town guests. With the Best Western Plus Hotel and Swing Bridge Pub onsite and plenty of free parking, you and your guests will enjoy the true convenience of a one-stop-shop experience! A few unique accommodations that we offer: the convenience of a one-stop-shop for a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, getting ready room the day of for the bride, gift opening room and a discounted Room Block at the Best Western Plus Hotel, for your guests to stay the night without having to drive. Additionally, we offer a complimentary suite the night of your wedding for the two of you, access to a public park as well as our spacious outdoor patio. We have a gorgeous space for an indoor ceremony and a large Ballroom for your reception that can hold up to 350 guests.

Tanglewood Greens is a newly remodeled and updated golf course, wedding/ event center, and bar/ restaurant, located in Menomonie, WI.
