Our wedding reception at the Morris County Golf Club was absolutely magical! From the very beginning, Emma and her team were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly easy, flexible, and truly dedicated to making our day perfect. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and they anticipated every need. The venue itself is gorgeous, providing just the right amount of sparkle and elegance. But the real star of the show was the food! Our guests are still raving about the incredible buffet. Everything was hot, fresh, and constantly replenished. It was absolutely delicious and a highlight of the entire celebration. We can't recommend the Morris County Golf Club enough!

We had our reception on the first floor and it was so perfect for us. It was so nice that there were multiple rooms to step away from the dance floor and have a private conversation or out on the balcony and view the river and cool off. The food is the best banquet hall food I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

Our wedding weekend was everything we could have dreamed of, we have had multiple wedding guests say it was literally the best wedding they have ever attended. Sabrina our planner made the planning experience very efficient and meeting us where we were in the moments and providing every detail we needed. The venue was gorgeous, all the staff was wonderful, the atmosphere getting ready and leading up to the ceremony was everything we wanted, and THE FOOD was so so good. We recommend going with the cake vendor. We loved their selections so much they allowed us to have to cake flavors for our wedding. Everything was such great quality. We recommend a fall wedding if possible here. The grounds of the club are amazing for photos.

We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception at this location. Connie and Georgia were the absolute best to work with! We had a ton of questions and concerns for our big day and they were there to answer all of them along the way. Not only that, they were very candid and informative. We had an absolute blast working with them. I absolutely recommend having your big day here! The attention to detail was amazing!

I literally could write for an hour or two and still not be able to tell you everything that was so wonderful about working with WSE. They were well organized, available, kind, and definitely make you feel like family. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and photographs very well. We took advantage of the recent upgrades to Alpha and it was a fantastic space; big enough to comfortably accommodate our 150-ish guests, décor, dance floor, buffets, memory table, etc, but still felt intimate. They coordinated well with our outside vendors and I appreciated that we weren’t limited in our vendor selection. They made a lot of things just work without stressing us out at all. The setup for my caterers/servers was excellent and accommodating. The Romeo suite was so much fun for the groomsfolk, but the Juliet suite was an AMAZING amenity. The salon chairs and backlit mirrors were so convenient for my HMUA. The suite was comfortable and roomy despite the zillion people I had coming in and out. The full kitchen (particularly the full size fridge/freezer) was super nice to have. We had our ceremony on the west lawn, which was absolutely beautiful. They also were very enthusiastic and accommodating about letting us get some photos with our dogs and incorporating them into the ceremony. One of the most notable things, though, was how well they handled adapting to my and my guests’ mobility needs. Several of my older family members use walkers and were worried about the walking or the grass and they all felt very accommodated and cared for and were able to enjoy the day. I myself have a disability that affects my ability to walk and stand for very long; this was no problem for them. They shortened the aisle for my ceremony, knew exactly how to create a beautiful ceremony where both we and our wedding party were seated, and they put a lot of mileage on those golf carts getting me and my family where we needed to be safely and comfortably. I cannot recommend White Stone strongly enough and I would have every event there if I could.

We were drawn to Colvin House because of the mansion's historic details, but believe it truly shines when paired with the talents of Pyrite Sun, their in-house planning, catering, rentals, and floral team. We met with Sarah (Colvin's Events Manager/Owner of Pyrite Sun) to tour the space and ended up hiring Pyrite Sun for our entire wedding at Colvin House. Not only was it convenient to have everything under one roof, but we had a personalized wedding experience like no other–complete with vintage furniture, plates, and coupes, the most incredible floral from Colvin's gardens, and a customized food menu that our guests still rave about. I also love that Sarah recommends great vendors they've worked with and happily coordinates whatever you need with any other vendors you'd like to hire, as well. Overall, an incredibly special experience you won't find anywhere else. Thank you, Colvin House and Pyrite Sun, for making our vintage glamour wedding dreams come true!

We are SO glad we chose Firehouse Chicago for our wedding in Sept 2024. It was truly the most beautiful, special day, and so much more than we ever imagined. The Firehouse was the perfect backdrop for our day. We chose to rent the upstairs room to get ready morning of, took all of our pictures onsite, had our ceremony in the garden, and dinner/reception in the engine room. The gorgeous greenery, subway tiles, natural light, and overall gorgeous aesthetic was perfect for us to relax and enjoy our day, and was truly picturesque from every angle for photos. Their attention to detail in curating this beautiful space is truly remarkable. Beyond its idyllic setting, one of the biggest perks of Firehouse Chicago, is the staff, and the wedding coordination that is included (you don't need to hire a separate day-of or month-of coordinator for this venue!). We got the pleasure of working closely with Teddy and Sarah and we really appreciated their calm reassuring demeanor throughout the wedding planning process, and their delicate touch knowing how important this day was for us and know overwhelming wedding planning can be. They truly helped take some of the stress and worry out of the planning process from start to finish. They ensured every little detail went off without a hitch from start to finish. They were so helpful in initial planning, month-of coordinating, day-of execution, and responding to all of my questions along the way. The rest of the Firehouse Staff was incredible day-of, and made sure everything ran smoothly. They kept us to our timeline, checked in with us frequently throughout the day, calmed my nerves as I waited to walk down the aisle, helped hype us up and build our confidence for our fire pole entrance, and even ensured we had some quiet time to ourselves after the ceremony to let things sink in and enjoy our moment. Their staff is truly the best- we were so fortunate we chose them for our big day.

She truly made the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. Victor, the venue manager, was also fantastic. On the day of the wedding, he and his team ensured everything ran smoothly. His professionalism and warmth were so appreciated—he made sure we were all taken care of. We never had to worry about a thing because Victor was always one step ahead, making sure that everything flowed perfectly. As for the venue itself, Victoria in the Park is an absolute gem. The venue is spacious, private and charming which made it a beautiful backdrop for our reception. The elegant reception hall, makes it clear that this place has been designed with love and attention to detail. Overall, our wedding at Victoria in the Park was a dream come true, and much of that was thanks to Lucy and Victor. We are so grateful for their expertise, dedication, and care throughout the entire process. Having our wedding at Bartlett Hills could not have been a better choice! Their wedding packages offer everything you need for a super reasonable price! Evan made planning the event so easy and stress free. We really appreciated his level of communication and care. We were able to drop off all of our decorations the day before and everything was set up for us beautifully. We chose the casual package which has food stations instead of a traditional multif course meal and it was absolutely perfect for our event. The food was delicious and there was plenty enough for seconds or thirds. Overall the whole event was better than we could have ever imagined. We cannot thank Bartlett Hills enough for such a great experience.

Had the 5 hour lunch wedding package on 5/20/23. It was fabulous. Lisa was the wedding coordinator and offered the Emerald Room with high ceilings. Very light and airy. She set up everything beautifully. Lots of food. Cake was beautiful and delicious. Everything was perfect. The only thing that could have changed was cleanup started 15 minutes before event ended which caused some guests to leave slightly early. But overall a 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed by selecting Villa Olivia. Also beautiful outdoor pictures at this facility.

We can’t thank Fishermen's Inn enough for going above and beyond for our wedding. From start to finish, everyone was professional, kind, helpful, and excited right along with us. We looked forward to every meeting, and having Erin at the helm of the event gave me so much comfort. Patti, has done an incredible job of building something beautiful, and we appreciate all of the care she has put into her business - it shows! On our wedding day, from the moment I walked into the space, I felt like royalty. Erin did a great job of running the show, and Tara gets a special award for sprinting back up to the bridal suite when I forgot my bouquet for the ceremony! Everyone commented on how good the food was and made a point to mention how incredible the staff & service was throughout the whole night. Jon is incredible at what he does managing the bar. He helped wrap everything up at the end of the evening, helped coordinate space for our last dance together, helped us pack up, and saw us off at the end of the night. Our only sadness is that we don’t get to do it again! Now we need to try to snag an invite to a Fishermen’s Inn wedding so we can go back for a visit! The Woman’s Club of Evanston was the perfect venue for our June wedding! After an extensive venue search, we were so excited to find the Woman’s Club. The venue checked every box we had - close enough to the city for us and our friends and close enough to the suburbs for our family. The venue is also located right between a reasonably-priced parking garage and a lovely Hilton, which accommodated anyone flying or driving into our celebration. Our vendors also raved about the ease of working in that space, from the vendor parking lot to loading areas to elevators. The venue manager, Gretchen, was the best! She is an excellent communicator and answered all our questions promptly, and was on top of all the tasks that needed to be completed. The BYOB policy of the venue also helped us save some money on our beverages. The list of preferred caterers was great and we found someone that was the perfect fit for our fusion wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was just right for us. The first floor is so warm and welcoming, and was perfect for our photos and for the cocktail hour. The second floor ballroom is grand and had such a wow factor. We were able to keep our decorations to a minimum because the venue itself is gorgeous. The space has so much natural light. We used the gardens outside for our first look, which made for some lovely photos. There’s nowhere else I would rather have gotten married!

With everything going on with COVID-19, my fiance and I were super nervous about what would happen if we postponed our wedding or even if we had it with a smaller crowd. We had friends tell us that for their wedding at a different venue, they were still going to be charged the minimum amount even if there were only 50 people, I was so nervous about what was going to happen but then we got the call. Jennifer called us from Brides of Poplar Creek and assured us that they understood what was going on and that they would do whatever they could to accommodate us with what we decided to do. They allowed us to maintain our date for 2020 but then also offered to hold a date (at no cost) for 2021! My fiance and I hit the lotto with this place. Jennifer is up to date on the guidelines they are mandated to follow and continued to support us as we took our time deciding what we were going to do. We have finally decided to move our date and Jennifer drew up the new contract and got it to us in no time. Honestly, she made it so much easier for us to make this decision because it definitely was not easy. If you have not seen this venue in person, you need to go check it out. I am very picky and was looking for a place that did not have carpet. If you look at their old photos you see what the upstairs used to look like, it was beautiful but it had carpet. I was going to not even check out this venue but my mom saw that they updated their floors and now it is wood flooring. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Having both inside and outside ceremony options, you could not ask for a better place. I cannot wait to continue working with Jennifer and her crew as the countdown to our new wedding date continues. I will post a new review after our wedding happens next September. CHECK OUT BRIDGES OF POPLAR CREEK, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

The Design Barn was the perfect venue! They are very accommodating and will work with you to put your vision together. Alex was so helpful with making our dreams come to life. Jorge makes the BEST food. You don't have to worry about food and drinks. They have a team there to do it all! The venue also includes all your seating, plates/silverware/glasses, linens, cute Photo Booth area, along with tables for your welcome set up. We've been to many venues where you get charged extra for security, plating, linens, extra chairs, etc. They also have plenty of space to have over 200 people! We never felt cramped or crowded. The Design Barn also has beautiful and fun SPACIOUS rooms for the bridal parties. They also have a very cute and fun room for when the bride gets ready. We've been to other venues where there were no bridal suites or they were extremely small. Our bridal party had 9 people on each side so room to get ready was a must. The venue also provides drinks and lunch for when you are getting ready. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. We are so glad we picked the Design Barn. It was PERFECT!!

She was great at communicating with us, took time to get to know us and understand what kind of vibe we were going for, and most importantly, she managed every little detail on the wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests are still talking about the food (From the venue), the laid back outdoor beer garden for cocktail hour, and how nice it was that the team flipped the room so quickly that people didn't even notice it was happening!
