She became my reason to purchase flowers. We got married in 2016 and she then became my reason to arrange flowers. In 2017, I grew bold enough to share an arrangement on Instagram. I grew up in a small country town in Illinois, where my family owns a greenhouse. Growing up in a greenhouse environment is unlike any other. Surrounded by beauty constantly and learning to work hard at a young age. Since I was a young girl, I was always playing with flowers from the plants of my family’s greenhouse. I would arrange all sorts of bouquets for the kitchen table at home. Thus began my dream to be a florist.

I discovered wood flowers when I was planning my wedding in 2020. From that point I fell in love and Tipsy Designs blossomed! Since then, we have done several weddings, even was hired by the football hall of fame in Canton Ohio in August 2023.
