Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. For Keeps Floral specializes in sola wood flowers, and we use them in our floral arrangements. The flowers are made of wood and won't wilt or die allowing you to have a lifetime of memories.

From a young age, I was constantly foraging flowers from the woods and raiding my mother's colorful zinnia beds. After ditching a career in political science, I decided to wake up and smell the roses (bad pun intended) and took up graduate work in horticulture at UMass Amherst and landscape design studies at Radcliffe.

Hi! I am Jami Bonnell. I started designing in 1992. I have created custom florals for weddings throughout the west and beyond. I use my degree in interior design to use color and texture to create beautiful, timeless florals that capture the true spirit of you.

I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.
