The Revery is both an indoor and outdoor space, updated with modern amenities including HVAC, no noise curfew, tons of natural light, and perfect for the modern couple who is looking for a hidden gem.

The Revery was everything we could've asked for in a venue and MORE. What initially drew us to the Revery was it being modern, yet still warm blank canvas. Compared to other blank canvas venues we saw in LA that were too industrial, too old, or just not our style, the Revery was the best base we could find. For our wedding, we used the upstairs indoor area for our ceremony and dinner, and used the outdoor area for our cocktail hour and mini-festival/dance floor. It was really cool to have the option to create 2 different kind of vibes and styles within the same venue and night. I highly recommend the Revery's bar service, where you can purchase your own alcohol and they provide the mixers service on the day of the wedding. You pretty much can't go wrong on any of The Revery's preferred vendors, we really liked working with everyone. For our wedding, we worked with Gigi from Sincerely Us Events for event coordination, Gray from Moon Jar Design for florals, Kapsule Co for photo & video, Chubby Fingers for catering, Stage labs for lighting, Dart Collective for our DJ, makeup from Beautifully Redeemed, Go Cakes for cake, and Wild House Ink for our lantern wall fabrication. We highly recommend them all! I honestly thought I'd be super stressed out on the day of the wedding, but I was CHILLIN. It is so nice to have vendors you trust, and be able to know that you're in good hands so you can just sit back and enjoy what you've put together. I also want to give a specific shoutout to the Revery owner, Monica, who was a joy to work with and was so accommodating, and answered our many questions very quickly. She did so many things big and small to make sure our wedding was setup for success, which we really appreciate since her experience and high attention to detail was pretty critical for us to plan our own wedding. It really felt like Monica wanted the best for us and our wedding. We'd love to host more events in the Revery some day, but til then, I highly recommend it for your event!

I appreciated their understanding of how difficult the cost of weddings have gone up and how they were willing to cooperate reasonably throughout the whole process. Cook was able to capture all the shots I was hoping to have captured and his talent is truly evident. My husband and I were hoping to get some footage within the whole gallery of the not so “picture-perfect” to keep memories authentic and to see the natural candid side of our special day. Cook delivered that exactly through his videos. I truly recommend working with Cook if you are looking for someone to capture a meaningful event in your life. Jaycee has done my makeup on a few occasions now, including a group family portrait and a couple special events/occasions. When I do my own makeup it just never turns out quite right. My eyebrows are slightly off or the makeup settles into my lines and wrinkles, making them more pronounced, rather than less. She has the magic touch and I’ve loved the result every time. They made us so comfortable and actually helped in ways I wasn't expecting. They kept us on time so we didn't miss any important moments but still managed to capture everything we wanted with ease. They simultaneously grabbed video while shooting photos without interruption. Nate is creative and will work with you to figure out the best settings and ways to capture who you are as a couple and document the day so you never forget it. Not soon after I graduated from school I freelanced for the best cosmetic company at that time. Five years after being a brand ambassador for M.A.C I branched off on my own to open a freelance hair and makeup artistry which I eventually moved to Caliornia.

LA Hair and Makeup did a PHENOMENAL job with my wedding hair and makeup! Ashanta (the owner) is so kind, professional, brilliant, and talented. She and her team did makeup for myself and 14 members of my wedding party, and did everything on schedule and to a very high standard of artistry. All of my bridesmaids choose pretty different makeup looks and Ashanta’s team did it all perfectly. I wanted my own hair and makeup look to be sort of vintage-inspired and natural, and I truly could not have been happier with how my bridal hair and makeup turned out— Ashanta is a genius!!

Once a 1980s smog-check center, SmogShoppe is now a 100% solar-powered, private 6,500 square foot indoor/outdoor haven for desert plants, vertical gardens and chic vintage furnishings. The combined interior and exterior areas allow for quintessential California entertaining, making an ideal vintage wedding venue. The generous floor plan can accommodate up to 150-person garden ceremonies, 150-person formal sit down dinners, and 250-person cocktail parties. SmogShoppe is conveniently located in the heart of the Culver City art/design district, immediately off the 10 freeway, just minutes to Santa Monica, LAX, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles.

The team at SmogShoppe was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Their communication was prompt, efficient, and incredibly helpful as we planned our wedding. The venue itself is truly unique and funky, with a fun and photo-friendly vibe that was perfect a laid-back wedding. Dana offered great suggestions and expertise to help us craft our idea of what our wedding would look and feel like, and the on-site staff were responsive and effective in executing everything seamlessly on the event day. We had absolutely no complaints - the venue was the perfect choice for us, and the entire SmogShoppe team was as friendly, helpful, and professional as we could have hoped. Working with Bliss Wedding Planners was one of the most important decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. Looking back at the way our wedding unfolded day to day, we realized that Sehar and her team were a very big reason why everything flowed so seamlessly. From making sure vendors were on time and communicating well with each other while also prioritizing us and our requests and vision, Bliss Wedding Planners really did it all! We got married in May of 2022 in Houston and started planning with Sehar in Jan of 2021, knowing we were going to be in line with many who had put their weddings on hold during the pandemic. I'm admittedly wary when it comes to the Wedding Industry and all of it's bells/whistles/expectations, and at the same time, I believe wholeheartedly in the power of community, love, commitment, and collective joy. I come from a long line of meticulous documenters and hold a degree in Sociology, all of which informs the way I approach photography. I am curious about people, am in awe of the display of emotion, and am passionate about the ways in which we construct family and community.

My husband and I worked with Kenzie for our engagement session in the summer of 2021 and our wedding in the spring of 2022. As you can tell from the timeline both sessions were at the peak of the Pandemic. This season was filled with excitement but also stress as we balanced our family's health, our deepest desires for the wedding, and the weight of the global pandemic. Kenzie gave us the peace that we so desperately needed. All in all, she was our favorite wedding vendor. After our initial onboarding Zoom call, my husband and I turned to each other and screamed did we just make a new best friend?! She is not only professional but personal. She has a great artistic vision but also respected the direction we gave. Kenzie takes a photojournalistic approach to her work and because of that, we feel like these moments are enshrined in history! My favorite Kenzie touch was the pre-wedding survey she provided us that helped her understand what emotions we had going into "the most important day of our lives". She prompted us with questions about the relationship dynamics between our family and friends, and the quirky details of our love, and our answers allowed her to capture more than just a single snapshot in time. Kenzie's photos capture FEELINGS. Thank you thank you thank you and we cannot wait to work with you for our next life event!!

We used They Bloom Florals for our wedding on July 10th and don’t regret it! Naomi and Britney are phenomenal to work with. They are both communicative, down to earth, funny and a super safe space – especially for LGBTQA couples. Britney was our main contact for keeping track of our details (i.e. how many bouquets, boutonnieres, décor pieces, etc.) design appointments, cost & payments. Naomi is the floral “artist” not just a “florist” – they paint beautiful canvases with flowers that cater to your every whim. There is no other way to describe how amazing Naomi’s work is. Naomi is also SO incredibly knowledgeable about all different flowers, how to pair them together beautifully to fit your wedding “vibe”, the best time of year for different flower types and how to make that all work within your budget while fulfilling your perfect wedding floral dreams. Several of our guests still talk about our floral arrangements from our big day! We will 100% use them again for our floral needs in the future!

Heather gave us a personalized and affordable wedding photography package. She was helpful, timely, and supportive during our crazy wedding day. So much went wrong, but our photographers and flowers were some of the highlights that made our day amazing. The additional creative touch Heather brought went above and beyond our expectations. She brought confetti into the desert to highlight some of our post-first look photos and she brought champagne for a champagne pop with our bridal party.
