“Best. Decision. Ever. We booked Breanne maybe two weeks after we got engaged, after pricing out a few other options. She is extremely organized and professional, provided us all the documentation we needed to review, and promptly set up an initial meeting. Once we booked her for the wedding, we scheduled engagement photos. Breanne traveled significant distances for both our engagement session and our actual wedding. Her pricing is competitive with other Detroit photographers but I really don't think her work product is competitive because she is leaps and bounds above other photographers. Take a look through her galleries and you can see why she is so highly rated - you can literally see individuals' personalities through her photos. That's what drew us to her initially, and she did not disappoint. I will say the engagement session is necessary practice, so that Breanne can get to know you and you get to know her. I don't think our wedding photos would have turned out as outstanding as they did without that practice. Prior to the wedding, Breanne was very responsive to communication and she goes above and beyond to help you with any part of your wedding - she just truly loves love. Her timeline was the backbone of my wedding and I tailored all the other vendors and reception events around her schedule. Working with Breanne was the least stressful and most enjoyable part of wedding planning. She is exceptionally professional and prepared, and yet she communicates with personalized attention that makes you feel like she's your friend helping you plan your wedding. It is the perfect mix of professional competence and genuine interest. At the actual wedding, Breanne was a rockstar. She gives you everything you need in advance to prepare, like checklists and timelines. Once there, she is a calming presence. My makeup people were running an hour behind so instead of plenty of time to get dressed and do bridal portraits, we had about ten minutes. Breanne jumped right in to assist with my MOH and I've never seen buttons get done so quickly. And she still managed to take breathtaking bridal photos in about 3 minutes. She was also flexible when she saw we weren't going to stick to the timeline, she improvised and took venue photos while she waited for me. After the wedding, she was quick and efficient with the family and bridal party photos and kept the focus on the bride and groom, which I really appreciated. She manages all expectations when it comes to gallery delivery as well. AND THE PHOTOS ARE UNBELIEVABLE. I cannot stress this enough. She provides photos that are true and authentic to who you are, and how you feel the day you get married. She is not a bystander to your wedding, just doing her job until it's on to the next wedding. She truly participates, learns the names of your bridal party, remembers the little details or special requests that are important to you, and always gets your good side. Like most couples, my groom doesn't usually like how he looks in photos. But our wedding photos were the perfect depiction of "us". Every time I go through them (which is very often) I keep thinking to myself, "yes, this is us, this is exactly how I remember that moment". A lot of wedding websites tell you not to skimp on the photos and it's true because after those 24 hours fly by, you will only have these photos to remember them. And you will not be disappointed if you chose Breanne Rochelle Photography to capture your day.”

“It is really hard for me to put into words just how amazing Katie and her husband Matt are. We found them through our friends who used them for their wedding. We knew we wanted to do a destination wedding, and our friends had attended one the year before in Jamaica which Katie and Matt photographed. Because of that wedding, they chose them to be their photographer for their wedding in Michigan. After we saw the photos from the destination wedding and our friend's engagement photos we knew they would be perfect for us. After we saw our friend's wedding photos we knew made the right choice. Katie and Matt from the beginning were super helpful and were incredibly integral on our wedding weekend and day. When they arrived in Mexico, they met up with us and started to work immediately. They came to our rehearsal helping us decide where to put our camera for filming the ceremony and other helpful advice for the day of. They helped find the PERFECT first look location. On the day of the wedding, Katie and Matt were energetic and came ready to help put us to ease. Katie and Matt just have a way of making you feel at ease and then make you look like models. They did a great combination of classic portraits but a lot of candid photos mixed in (which were my favorites). They stayed through the our whole reception and the photos we got look out of a bridal magazine. We had a secondary shoot the day after as a Trash the Dress photo shoot, and the sunset photos we got look like post cards. The only down side of using Katie and Matt is that they gave us too many photos we want to print and get framed! Book them for your destination wedding (or Michigan wedding) and you will absolutely be making the best decision!”

Once we found Faith, i was passed feeling stressed and i was feeling relieved. She understood my vision, was receptive to my opinions. Faith was available for phone calls and answered so many questions i had along the whole way. She helped me with things big and small, and the day of the wedding her magic really began. She made me, my fiancé, bridal party and family feel SO comfortable, and my fiance said “i feel like a model” because the way Faith was directing and perfecting every shot. “This is going to be a long BUT WORTHY review because we cannot say enough AMAZING things about Julie - she is the best photographer ever! Working with Julie was a highlight of our wedding day. She has a very calming presence ad knowing she was there taking my photos made me so happy. She took our wedding photos and an engagement photo shoot and is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met! She has excellent communication and responds to calls and texts almost instantly, which was so reassuring because I was running late getting to the venue and she was fine walking around and getting a lay of the land before I got there. From the initial phone call to hear about her services and ask questions, I knew without a doubt she would be our photographer. She explained her wedding packages, her experience with photography and it felt like I was having a conversation with a friend and throughout the wedding process ad the big day, I feel like we have become great friends. She personalized our photo experience to match our style and that is so apparent in all of the photos. She provided the wedding photos within 6 weeks of the wedding day and kept me in the loop on timing and sent amazing preview pictures. She has a very easy to use gallery in which a link is provided, and you can download all of the photos. I got so many compliments from guests that she was so friendly and took so many great photos. For someone who worries about everything, photos was something I did not have to worry about because she knows exactly what photos should be taken and took suggestions for poses we wanted (it was a wedding on a tennis court so we had a few specific poses we wanted). She got so many great photos of guests, family photos, candid photos during our vow exchange and other times and during the ceremony that every emotion we were feeling was captured on film. My husband hates photos, but Julie is such a calming presence that even my husband and some family members who don’t like photos really enjoyed taking photos. She can strike up a conversation with anyone and is a ball of positive energy, which is a must have on a wedding day! Everyone that talked to her was delighted to meet her and said she was the best photographer they have met, and I couldn’t agree more. I am still amazed at the photos we received. She made the colors of the flowers, my hair (redhead) and the colors of the bridal party dresses pop in a way I didn’t even know was possible. She truly captured every emotion of the day.
