Our mission at the Crane & Pelican is to provide our guests with the highest quality, full service, fine-dining experience, in our beautiful & historic location, The Dawley House. Proudly serving the Quad Cities since 2009, we are family-owned & operated, women-owned, & LGBT-owned. We opened the Crane & Pelican Cafe in 2009. Our vision was to make real handcrafted food, with a full-service top-shelf bar, in this beautiful location. Any changes we have made to the property have been to restore it to its original glory. We added live Jazz in 2021 and we look forward to making some amazing new memories here at the Dawley house.

The Auditorium Ballroom is a one of a kind, Luxurious historical venue space in downtown LaSalle, IL. The building was built in 1915 and named the Auditorium Ballroom that hosted many weddings and events. The property was restored in 2017 while keeping its unique historic character. You will fall in love with the grand entrance which features the beautiful, original marble staircase with polished brass railings , with a grand chandelier. Grace Lutheran Church was organized on February 2, 1888, with 18 charter members. It was notable for being the first “English” church, with services in English rather than Swedish, in the Augustana Synod. Connections to Augustana College were strong, and services were held at Augustana’s chapel in the early years of the church.
