The George Ranch is over 100 years old, making it one of Texas’ oldest ranches. It sits on 22,000 picturesque acres of pristine Texas countryside located just 30 miles south of downtown Houston.

In May of 1914 Houston real estate investor and industrialist George H. Hermann announced publicly his intention of deeding to the City of Houston 285 acres of this property for a municipal park across the street from the Rice Institute and thus Hermann Park was born. A century later, Hermann Park is 445-acres of beautiful green space and is visited by an estimated 6 million people per year.

Located centrally in the Washington Heights District and fashioned in a city rich with history and grandeur, Hughes Manor marries modern luxury and industrial-chic decor to create a truly timeless backdrop for any occasion. Hughes Manor has been hosting spectacular events for just about a year now in the Washington, Heights district.
