We loved having our wedding at The Metroplex Expo Center. The venue offers a huge, open space which allowed us flexibility in designing the layout and decor exactly how we envisioned for our special day. Throughout the planning process, the venue coordinator was very responsive via email and phone, answering all of our questions promptly. On the wedding day, the staff worked seamlessly with our other vendors like the caterer, florist, and DJ to ensure everything flowed smoothly. The team was organized and attentive to details. Their expertise and coordination were invaluable in reducing stress so we could truly enjoy our celebration with family and friends.

The timber frame barn was built in 1905. It is 3,300 square feet and can comfortably seats 200 guests, with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. In 2012-2013, it was renovated to restore its original structure. Wagon wheel chandeliers and a unique bar constructed from French wine barrels and the original barn doors were added. The surrounding farmland offers stunning views and sunsets. We have tables, chairs, white china, flatware, ivory or white linen tablecloths and white napkins, burlap runners, mason jars or water glasses, bridal dressing room, and much more. Faraone Brothers Catering offers wonderful food and service. Alcohol is permitted, with use of certified bartenders and licensed security personnel. The barn is a short drive from multiple hotels and B&B's and it has easy access from I-80, I-79, and PA 376. Pittsburgh is less than an hour away.

The Barn at Pineridge was a wonderful venue for our wedding! The owners, Jeremy and Melissa, were incredibly professional, efficient, and kind throughout the entire planning process. Their communication was top-notch, and they were always available to answer our questions, no matter how last-minute. On the day of, Jeremy drove guests around in the golf cart, which was a huge help, and Melissa was available to address any concerns we had. The venue itself is gorgeous, with a beautiful lake and creek nearby. It was a great value for the price, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to create beautiful memories on our special day. We are so grateful to Jeremy and Melissa for allowing us to use their property - we had the best day of our lives!

In brief, we cannot recommend Meadow Ridge highly enough--the venue is beautiful and unique, but more than that, working with Seneca and her team is a pure joy! They are organized, thoughtful, responsive, and caring. They make you feel like family from the first time you meet and the investment in the success of your wedding day is incredible. Lastly, I was nervous planning a multicultural event with integration of Indian and American wedding traditions in rural Ohio and all our requests and details pertaining to Indian cultural aspects were beautifully integrated into the wedding day! It is clear that hosting excellent and memorable weddings is a proud commitment for the Meadow Ridge team, not just a job they have. Venue: large, beautiful outdoor venue with a covered pavilion. To quote our friend, "I've been to a lot of barn weddings, yours was not a farm wedding, it was a fairytale." The flowers were stunning, the grass was lush, the pond lined with reeds and tall grassed, the sunset was out of a painting. There is a new patio in the larger pavilion which we used as our dance floor, so our guests danced the night away under the stars. The photography team Suzuran has stunning pictures of Meadow Ridge across several seasons! Communication/Planning: Seamless communication with the team, Seneca was always easy to reach and responsive, answering our infinity questions meticulously and graciously adjusting her plans when we had to change ours. Service: So thoughtful and caring, we and our guests were blown away! For instance, the bartenders kept track of what drinks we had as the bride and the groom and came to find us with refills. One of the servers brought over tissues when my parents and I started crying before walking down the aisle. As we mentioned, the integration of elements of Indian culture was phenomenal--Seneca was receptive from our first conversation and worked hard to make our hopes a reality. Having our wedding at Meadow Ridge was an absolute privilege and the success of the day is fully reflective of the incredible team we got to work with--we are just so grateful!

My husband and I got married here on 10.26.2024 and it was the most perfect day! The Barn at Walnut Drive is such a breathtaking and beautiful venue with the best staff imaginable. Meagan, the venue owner, was so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always available when I had questions or just needed recommendations. If you're getting married here and are thinking about hiring Meagan as your day of coordinator (additional cost) do not hesitate. Nothing, and I mean nothing, would have gone as smoothly during our day without having her there! SHE WAS SO AMAZING! I highly recommend everything about this venue and all of the staff! If you are stuck between wanting a classic, old fashioned and a modern, sleek wedding, you can have BOTH at Sun Valley! The completely renovated inside mixed with the charming covered patio and pond outside creates the perfect blend; let's not forget that it sits on 25 acres of land in a very secluded area. This truly is a hidden gem! I never knew SV existed until my fiancé (now husband) and I decided to change our wedding venue TWO months before the big day (Covid-19 played a major role in that). I can honestly say that changing our venue was the best decision we made! Not only did Jennifer accommodate our wedding date but she worked with us up until the very day to make sure everything was just how we had envisioned it to be (we were also very fortunate to be the FIRST wedding under the ownership of Jennifer, Melissa and Scott)! When I walked into SV on my wedding day, I was blown away at how spot on every little detail was. Everything from the entrance table to the layout of the guest tables to the décor was exactly how I wanted it. I love that SV gave me access to their online seating chart so I could do my own layout and make changes up until a couple days before the wedding. Jennifer had very minimal questions for me the week of which is crucial because, as a bride, the week of the wedding is very overwhelming; the last thing you need to worry about is your setup at the venue. SV also provides a spacious bridal suite with a code generated lock where you and your bridal party can store all of your belongings throughout the night. Let's also not forget about the mirrors in the suite that light up at the touch of your finger; I wish I'd spent more time in there but, as everyone always says, the night flies by - and they are right! Another benefit of having your wedding at SV is that the grounds and pond make for beautiful photos! Some of my best photos were captured right next to the pond under a beautiful tree. While having photos taken, it was so refreshing to look over and see our guests fully enjoying cocktail hour that was setup outside with an open bar and delicious appetizers provided by Flour. If you are able to, splurge and rent some colorful linen from Event Source and hire an acoustic musician to play during cocktail hour. It really makes for a magical evening for your friends and family. I cannot tell you how many people commented on how SV was the most beautiful venue they'd ever been to. I couldn't agree more and I can't believe I almost didn't get married there! I really could not have pictured having my wedding anywhere else. If you are stuck between a few venues, do yourself a favor and just go with Sun Valley! Between Jennifer (wedding planner), Melissa (photographer) & Scott (DJ), you are working with three seasoned industry professionals who know how to put on a party! You will not regret your decision!

I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

Silver lake country club was an amazing beautiful venue. Cocktail hour on the balcony with the sunset was magical. My husband and I were married at Laplace in September 2020. It was perfect! They have bridal suites for getting ready and a few different options for ceremony and receptions depending on your style. I loved how easy everything was. We didn't have to worry about anything at all. The set up was done for us. The clean up was done for us. We were able to pick and choose colors, decor, lighting, etc. The food was amazing! It was hot and fresh which is different than other weddings I've attended. For a stress free wedding or any event, this is definitely the place to go!

Greystone was perfect! We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! The facility was gorgeous and we loved having our ceremony and reception in the same building to help minimize travel for our guests. More importantly, the people who work there are truly the best. Our first meeting was supposed to be a quick tour but the ladies spent hours with us going over details and questions even before we committed to booking. We had access to the venue for the entire weekend, which meant we had our rehearsal, reception and goodbye breakfast all at the same place. The night before the wedding my bridal party and myself stayed at the air bnb and were able to relax before the big day and get ready right at the venue. Melissa and Brett were amazing to work with, always responding to my emails. They were flexible, accommodating and supportive of our vision. All of our guests raved about the venue and how perfect it was. We truly had the most perfect wedding day and a huge part of that was having our wedding at Bath Hollow Farm.

Livia and the team at Orchard Hills were professional, dynamic, had amazing input planning wise and were a wealth of knowledge. The time between engagement and our wedding was 10 months and it would have been so much more stressful without Livia. She was my rock and I never felt the need to worry with her in my corner. She's extremely dedicated and organized. The team itself day of is efficient and so, so kind. I loved having my wedding here, due to the staff and how beautiful the grounds are. Plenty of room to get ready for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Having our reception hall in the same location as the ceremony made life so easy. And in my opinion, this was so most gorgeous location for an outdoor wedding. I felt like a fairytale princess all day. No regrets at all, I highly recommend at least touring the location and meeting with Livia!

This was the easiest decision to make when planning our wedding. We originally planned on going through Allegheny County Parks and renting a shelter but we had issues as we wanted to rent Veteran’s Day Weekend and the Parks Department wasn’t open. So my husband found The Stables, and after 10 minutes of touring and talking to Jaclyn, we were sold. The space is gorgeous, very accommodating, and Jaclyn is now one of my favorite people. She made sure everything was perfect, even standing up for me when I was too afraid to ask for specific things with a vendor. She takes care of the event, the coordination day-of, and the people, which is rare. Looking back, I get the wedding-bell blues for the fact that my time at The Stables and with Jaclyn is over, but I will hold other events there in the future, without a doubt! Super close to a lot of shops and amenities, can’t go wrong. The Stables will have a special place in my heart for years to come.

The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. They made time to answer all of our questions and were incredibly accommodating by allowing us to take tours and re-visit as we started planning for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. Everyone we've spoken to after the wedding have continued to say how beautiful the venue was and how it made for the absolute perfect wedding. I highly recommend Heartland to any bride looking for a beautiful wedding that's truly one-of-a-kind!

Our wedding was on 9/28/24 so the property was open to the public during the day, but not very busy. We used the east side of the property and it was beyond picture perfect. The pavilion set the most perfect vibes for our reception, and the area behind the Herrick House was a dream come true for our ceremony. My husband and I did a first look and private vows in front of the yellow house, and were able to take photos on the entire property. It was MAGICAL to say the least. But this review is mostly for the AMAZING Miss Dotty. About two months before my wedding, I was notified that the person I had been in contact with and had been planning with was no longer with HF. Obviously, I was stressed and nervous to say the least. But once Dotty was brought on, and after one meeting with her my fears subsided. This amazing person did EVERYTHING in her power to help me achieve the wedding of my dreams. She came up with solutions to any issues, she offered ideas and thoughts for any question I had. This woman worked her butt off the day of my wedding!! With the change in staffing, and promises made from the prior, Dotty went above and beyond to make things happen. She also had a second wedding on the west side of the property the same day, and Dotty seemed to always be around when I needed something. When my ceremony was 45 minutes late... no fault of HF or Dotty (family drama)... and I was on the verge of a breakdown, Dotty came over to me and asked "you want to hear a funny story?" and continued to tell me something funny to distract me, and make me laugh. She made sure I wasn't too shiny from the stress sweat, and helped get things back on track. At one point she had the help of a young man named Alex (I hope that's right) who was just as kind and helpful as she was. Both helped with set up, and tear down. Alex helped fluff my dress before I walked at the ceremony as Dotty was closing and opening the entrance doors for me. They both seemed to make sure that everything could go as best as it could. I know for a fact this day would not have happened, and would not have been as amazing as it was, if not for Dotty. She is a superhero. Hale Farm and Village was truly a dream come true venue for us and our special day. But Dotty was a rock star and I am forever grateful for her, her hard work, and her kindness from the moment I met her. Thank you!!!
